Episode Notes |
| |
Deleted scenes for this episode include a story about Michael and Todd Packer at a bar, Michael possibly being a bottle capper, Dwight questioning Josh about his past, and Jan hitting on Josh. | After a year and a half, we finally discover that Toby's last name is Flenderson. It was dropped into the script (much like all the last names) after Paul Lieberstein was given a starring role. | Starting with this episode, Oscar does not appear on the show while his character takes a three-month European vacation with his partner, Gil. |

Episode Quotes |
| |
Michael: You know Pam, in ten years, if I haven't had a baby, and you haven't had a baby-
Pam: No, Michael.
Michael: Twenty years?
Pam: No, Michael.
Michael: Thirty.
Pam: (pauses) Sure.
Michael: It's a deal.
(They shake hands) | Phyllis: (To Pam) You should order the most expensive thing on the menu, so he knows you're worth it.
Stanley: If you do that, you're gonna have to put out.
(Pam sighs and looks at Phyllis)
Phyllis: ...Well yeah, you'll have to put out.
(Pam looks at the camera in shock) | Jim: (Holds up card) Dwight's room key. (Stops in front of door) And Dwight's room. What can I say? Old habits die hard.
(Jim opens the door with the card, the camera sees a pair of legs on the bed)
Angela: D?
(Jim takes a double look and runs down the hall)
Jim: Oh my God... Dwight got a hooker! Oh my God. I gotta call... but I gotta call somebody, I don't know who to call! Dwight got a hooker! | Michael: Some people need dozens of friends to say, 'look at me, I’m popular.' But not me, I’m very picky, I need three, maybe two. When you meet that someone special, you just know. Because a real relationship can’t be forced. It should just come about effort-leh-lessly. | (After meeting Jerome Bettis)
Dwight: Why do they call him The Bus?
Michael: Because he's afraid to fly. | Jim: You know, when I saw Dwight, I realized how stupid and petty all those pranks I pulled on him were. And then he opened his mouth. I wonder how hard it would be to get a copy of his room key? | Jim: Hey... how's Toby?
Michael: Toby Flenderson is everything that is wrong with the paper industry. | Michael: (to Pam) Word of advice, unbutton that top button. Let those things breathe. | Michael: Whoa, what are all those stains?
Dwight: Blood, urine, or semen.
Michael: Oh God, I hope it’s urine. |

Pam: What was Oprah about?
Michael: Angelina Jolie was on. And she adopted a baby from Asia, and she said that it changed her life. And that really inspired me. So I want you to look into seeing how much a little Chinese baby would cost.
Pam and Michael's discussion make references not only to the daytime talk show, Oprah, but also to actress Angelina Jolie. | Audio: Michael's ringtone
Michael's new ringtone is "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas. | Pam: I went on a date. It wasn’t a love connection.
Love Connection was a reality dating show where two people went on a first date, all recorded by cameras, to see if they were compatible. The show was hosted by Chuck Woolery. |
