Jan gave birth to her baby sometime before the date of this episode, and named her "Astrid."

Episode Quotes
Dwight: Babies are one of my many areas of expertise. Growing up, I performed my own circumcision.

Michael: (to Phyllis) We all came into this room and gave you a golden shower. Well you know what? Where's my golden shower, Phyllis?

Stanley: I do not like pregnant women in my workspace. They're always complaining. I have varicose veins, too. I have swollen ankles, I'm constantly hungry... do you think my nipples don't get sore too? Do you think I don't need to know the fastest way to the hospital?

Darryl: What's up, Mike?
Michael: Uh, I need some advice from one baby daddy to another.

Jan: Okay. You know what? There is, uh... there is one more thing that you can do for me.
Michael: Okay?
Jan: Don't date Holly.

Michael: I didn't feel much when I held Astrid, but I got a good feeling from Holly.

Cultural References
Michael: (lifts Astrid in her car seat over his head) Lion King!

Michael mimics the scene from the 1994 Disney film, The Lion King, where a monkey lifts infant Simba over the crowd gathered below.

Audio: Jan sings to Astrid.

The song Jan sings is "Son of a Preacher Man" made famous by singer by Dusty Springfield.

Creed: Must be like the tide at Omaha Beach.

Creed compares childbirth to the bloody World War II battle on D-Day at Omaha Beach, on the north coast of France.

Visual: Angela and Andy photograph baby Astrid surrounded by vegetables

The photograph Angela is trying to take is reminiscent of the works of famous photographer Anne Geddes.
