Episode Summary

A cargo ship far from home shudders from hyperspace into a strange starless void. The crew discovers the remains of the Slayton, a military vessel lost years earlier. And an alien ship that fires on their probe and destroys it. Then the aliens appear from nowhere on their ship. What do the aliens want? Did they create the strange region of space and destroy the Slayton? Or are they, too, victims? The crew must discover the right answers if they’re ever to see home again.
