Alex Diakun reprised his role of Nicholas Prentice in two subsequent episodes involving time travel: "Gettysburg" and "Time to Time". This makes him the only actor to play the same character in three separate episodes of the series.

Saul Rubinek (Aaron Zgierski) previously played Professor Hugaro in the Season One episode "Caught in the Act".

According to the subsequent episode "Time to Time", the present day scenes in this episode take place in 1995.

The story of Leon Zgierski (Roman Danylo / Peter Boretski) and his family is largely based on the real life experiences of Sam Egan's father and his immediate family. As such, this episode carries a dedication from Egan which reads "Dedicated to my father who survived Auschwitz...and his wife and daughter who did not." The parents of Saul Rubinek (Aaron Zgierski) were also survivors of the Holocaust.
