Episode Summary

Andy and Vince, two friends and Civil War buffs, are in Pennsylvania to participate in an re-enactment of the Battle of Gettysburg on the historic site itself. A time traveller named Nicholas Prentice disguises himself as a photographer and transports them to July 1, 1863, the eve of the real Battle of Gettysburg. He claims that he is done this to have a question answered: are we prisoners of our fate or can we forge our own destinies?
