For the third time, MTV will ship off it's Real World house-mates to a country (in the past London and Paris, respectively), this time in Sydney, Australia. While the past foreign seasons had less a bit of a negative response. Apparently (from the press releases I've read), this is one of the most anticipated seasons ever...oh really? Whatever. It premieres Wednesday, August 8 on MTV. |

London was OK.
Paris was a borefest, but relatively harmless.
MTV has a trailer for the new season on its website for all those interested.
And while I'm here, I have a bone to pick with you, MTV. You go out of your way to get the hottest chicks you can find on your show, and yet you leave us with no male eye candy. Why is this? The men on The Real World are generally ugly on the inside, so can't you at least give us some who are less ugly on the outside? |

Ugh, you're right. None of the guys are remotely hot.
Apparently this season will be the "cattiest" according to MTV. And by the looks of those girls, it probably will be. |

None of them have normal names. The most normal is Trisha. Trisha has never been a common name. The highest it's ranked in the name ranking is 1979 in the high 100s. Trisha hasn't been in the top 1000 since 2003. Oh yeah, there is Issac, which is becoming more popular. I think they strive to find unique named people. What happened to simple names like Jenn, Brook, and Nehemiah?
(nothing against Kelly Anne, Kelly ) |

I hated Kelly Ann after the first episode . . .but now I kinda like her, she's immature in a cute way. Although my opinion on that might change...
Trisha . . .I agree with the nickname Trasha.
I love Parisa. She's probably going to be the only reason I even bother with this season . . .but she's so amazing I might watch the entire thing (I always get bored around episode 15...). She's beautiful, so much more mature than everyone else, incredibly talented . . . it's nice to see
Cuhutta has to be the oddest name I've ever heard. I like him enough, the accent might get on my nerves eventually.
Issac has the best sense of humor
Dunbar . . .isn't hot. I don't get it. At all.
Shauvan... I'm pretty neutral. |

For some reason, lots of people hate Parisa, because of the way she is. She's one of my favorite cast mates, because reasons you stated in your posts. I think she was real mature about it. KellyAnne is just immature, and needs to grow up. Parisa isn't the "mom" of the house - she's just a normal, responsible adult. Trisha is from Minnesota (what's with MN castmates and T's...Tyler..Trisha..jesus) I don't remember much from her. The guys were barely showcased. Dunbar is pretty full of himself and will end up cheating on his girlfriend**. Isaac, Cohutta, and Shauvon - I need to see more episodes to judge them properly, but they seem okay. Oh, and I like how Parisa is Muslim, but not all stereotypical about it.
This season is missing something. This is the first all white, non-gay cast I've seen in a long time. I miss Denver.
**The producers usually hire a local and a cast mate to pretend they are gf/bf, so they can later have a "I'm cheating episode, and now I'm gonna call them". Last season, they had a guy pretend to be Colie's boyfriend. Forgot his name. He was on a lot. |

I've been messaging boarding about Parisa a lot, basically defending posts against her. What annoys me is most people say they hate her, but don't say why. (or make untrue points) At least with Tricia (seems like everyone is taking sides, if I must take sides, I'm on Parisa's, but honestly I don't care) you can back up your points about her being the obnoxious one. But people who dislike Parisa are just like, "Yuuh, she SUCKS big time!!!"
Apparently Shauvon is bi. Which . . .eh, I prefer the gay guys, personally. And seasons with diversity . . . it's much more fun. |

Oh, so they do have a bisexual cast member. So there is a bit of diversity.
Yea, I've seen people take Trisha's side, which I personally don't get. If I had to take sides, I guess I'd take Parisa, but really don't care either. So far, this seasons been a bit of a disappointment. |
