The Rifleman

The Rifleman

Lucas McCain, a veteran who had served the Union during the Civil War, has decided to settle down at a nice little ranch in New Mexico. However, a lot of bad things seem to happen in the sleepy little town of North Fork, and even though the town is protected by the local Marshall, the residents have come to depend on Lucas in times of trouble. Lucas is more than happy to help, though all he really wants is to be able to raise his son to be an honourable man, as his wife is no longer alive and it’s up to him to make sure that he succeeds.

A Show that's Purely GenuineRating: 0 likes, 1 dislikes

I never skipped an episode of this show when I was at the young age. I really love the Rifleman a lot. Being compared to what's on TV during this era, they can never beat a genuine show like this because the plot of this show was very good. The chemistry between Mark and Lucas are always brilliant scenes. It remember it did returned in Encore but I don’t have time to wait for this at the scheduled time of re-runs and thankfully, I saw a DVD copy of this show being sold at http://www.dvdbooth.com/Western/RIFLEMAN_DVD_COLLECTION/ I'm just glad to see that there are company like DVDbooth.com can realize that classic shows like this should never be forgotten. The DVDs I got are made of excellent quality with all the complete episodes from the whole 5 Seasons of this show! I really love this show, it's modest, but endorse the good message of living with a simple life by striving hard putting every part of yourself to achieve what you want and you cannot achieve it if you follow the dark way. At the end of the day, Goodness still fought the evil deeds. Read more
