The Scarlet Pimpernel (1956)

BBC series about the adventures of the swashbuckling Scarlet Pimpernel, an English aristocrat who saved Frenchmen from Monsieur Guillotine during the time of the French Revolution. The series was based on the novels by Baroness Orczy with Marius Goring starring in the title role. The series aired for 18 episodes in 1956.
