4x22: The Text Best Thing recap: The episode begins with Ricky and Amy having an argument at the table while eating spaghetti. Amy is upset that Ricky has cooked spaghetti as she wanted to cook it the next day, as she wanted to do something nice for Ricky. She is also upset about the fact that Ricky did not react or snap when he learns that Amy spoke to Ben for an hour, while she had gone to get pizza. Ricky says that he is not jealous or upset unless there is a reason he needs to be. Amy then decides on the wedding date; 4th of July. And all Ricky has to say is: God Bless America. Now, this comment pisses Amy and Ricky says that he doesn’t want her to choose a random date to end a fight, but he wants her to pick one, because she means it and wants to get married on that day... read more.

4x21: Allies recap: The episode begins with the counselor telling Amy to bring up her grades; else she could find it difficult getting into college. If she needs to get into the same college as Ricky then she needs to get straight As and not Cs and definitely not Ds. But that’s where she is headed. Amy needs to stay in the office and finish the assignments she has been postponing. Next, at home, Amy’s friends Jane and Jackie arrive from New York. They had met during the teen mom program. They are travelling with their children and were hoping to stay at Amy’s while they are in the city. Ricky tries to avoid them but they end up walking into the house. He tells her that he needs to go to the police station regarding Kathleen’s son and he wants her to babysit Roby. But Nora thinks that is a bad idea and George agrees. He then calls Amy. But she finds it weird that she has to leave her own son and go help George’s wife number one. Amy denies and doesn’t let Ricky go either. He calls Anna and tells her that he is done with the relationship and that they will never get back together. Anne already knows that. Next, Grace arrives at Kathleen’s place. 4x19: The Splits recap: The episode begins with Ben and Dylan deciding on what to wear for their first, big date. Ben is all ready to leave. He has a short conversation with his father and leaves. Leo tells his girlfriend that Ben’s divorce papers have arrived and so has his. Its official now and it is not sad. Meanwhile, at Dylan’s, her mother his clicking pictures of her daughter dressed for her first date. Dylan’s father makes sure that she has her phone with her so that they could keep in touch with her. Ben arrives to pick her up and they leave. 4x18: The Beach Is Back recap: The episode begins with Ricky and John ready to go to the beach. Today is a day off. Amy is annoyed that she isn’t getting to go to the beach. It is very hot. It was her choice to go to the summer school and work; but now it seems that she doesn’t want to go. Ricky suggests that they all could go on Sunday. Amy decides to call in sick, but Ben stops her from doing that. Amy’s dad too is bored and he hates hot. He doesn’t want to babysit. Roby all alone; but Nora has to leave for work. He calls Ricky and on hearing his plans about the beach; he asks Ben to pick them up as well.
