Jay Karnes can speak Spanish, but purposely hacked up the miranda rights on purpose after getting the idea from Shawn Ryan. | It was revealed on the Season 1 DVD that this episode was swapped with "The Spread" for fear that Shane's character may be cut. | Actor, Sticky Fingaz who makes his first appearance in this episode in the recurring guest star role of Kern Little is member of the rap group, "Onyx." Mackey and Lem' are at the club where the shooting happened at the begining. When Capt. Acevada shows up he's wearing his badge on the outside of his suit, when he's talking to Mackey it's gone for the entire conversation, then when he's leaving he's wearing it again. |
