The Strike Team has dissolved and he's stuck babysitting a collapsing surveillance sting that keeps him off the street. With Captain Aceveda (Benito Martinez) moving on to his new City Council position, Captain Monica Rawling prepares to take over the Barn and implement her controversial anti-gang policies. Elsewhere in The Barn, Danny and Julian are swimming in vague waters, responding to everyday drive-by's and gang related violence, only to find themselves ignored by both their superiors and the community they are trying to protect and serve. Dutch and Claudette have remained in the DA's 'doghouse' for months and are assigned the most menial tasks.

According to the story line, it's been six months since the last episode. Shane is working vice while him and Mara have already had the baby, Lemonhead's been at the Youth Authority, Aceveda's packing up to leave while dealing with his marriage, Dutch and Claudette have been in a rut with the D.A's office, Julien and Danny are still on the street, and Ronnie is still working with Vic on the Custom Cars sting.

Episode Quotes

Rawlings: Oh comeon, Roy. The dog had a piece, he was gonna use it.

Billings: Bathroom. Family of four drown one by one.
Rawlings: ...Damn.
Mackey: Welcome back to Farmington.

Vic: I didn't get the Street Crime Detail I put in for.
David: Well I didn't know you were lookin' to transfer.
Vic: Well why did you write a four-page letter sabotaging it? I just got off the phone with someone who owes me a favor over there. You goddamn burried me with the selection committie.
David: I apprised them of your qualifications.
Vic: You stabbed me in the back! You didn't want me to find out about it until you ran out of here, right?
David: I wouldn't pass you along to become someone else's problem.
Vic: Who's been running your preciuos little garage sting?
David: Oh you mean that load of crap you sold me for a goddamn, nine minor busts? Yeah, I saw you tapdance on that one for a few weeks. So while you were out on the street strutting your stuff, I made Ryan run through every bust you had working. And it didn't take long.
Vic: So what is this? Payback?
David: Consider it the bill coming due. You ran the Strike Team into the ground. To get you under control I popped you in front of video tapes for six months, and you even managed to botch that. You are a joke! (Vic tries to take a swing but is blocked off by other officers.) You really thought after everything I wouldn't get the last word?

Episode Goofs

How could Vic and Ronnie pull up without seeing Shane's truck outside?

Rawlings says that over three years Aceveda's had pleanty of chances to get rid of Vic. By doing the math of the time frame from when the Barn started in the episode Co-Pilot, to the current time now, it's been closer to four years.

A number of people at Antwon's meeting move around to different spots between takes.

When Vic first takes Monica out, you can see the Camera crew in both actors sunglasses.

Cultural References

Vic: These million men are all One-Niners.

A quick reference to the Million Man March.

Kid: (Rapping) But don't let it be a black and a white one.

The lyric in the kid's rap is taken from the song, "F--k Tha Police" by N.W.A.
