Episode Notes

According to the timeline, it's been roughly six months since the last episode. Billings has been promoted to Captain, Julien is now the same rank Danny was during his training, Danny is Billings informal secretary due to her pregnancy, Claudette is sick but hasn't told anyone while still working with Dutch, the Strike Team is back together on full pay from the city, and Vic and Corrine have officially seperated.

The school riot scene was filmed at a local Jr. High near the show's set. Only 75 extras were used to film all the riot scenes.

Look closely at Ronnie's face. There are no more burn marks from when Armadillo burned him. His face is now completely healed.

Yes, that was CCH Pounder hanging over the railing in the Barn set. No stunt double!

Look closely at the nightstand in Lemonhead's house. There's a visitor pass to Chino laying on it. A nice detail to show he got the photos to where they were supposed to go.

This episode features (for the first time since Season 2) the Strike Team "Calling Card." The picture shows a cobra ready to swallow a rat.

David Rees Snell and Cathy Cahlin Ryan are now listed in the opening credits from this episode on.

Episode Quotes

Danny: Parents wanna take their kids home.
Billings: Nothing would make me happier. Unfortunately, all those little shitheads are suspects and witnesses.
Danny: They want to talk to a Captain.
Billings: And I want more hair.

Ronnie: (After being hit with a cross) WHO HIT ME?
(Vic looks down and sees the bloody cross)
Vic: Jesus Christ?

Dutch: It’s a rookie mistake.
Claudette: She’s way too young for you.
Dutch: I am mature and distinguished. A lot of young women appreciate that.
Claudette: You really ought to cut back on the porn.

Vic: I’ll walk out the front door on my own before I’ll let someone push me out the back!

Episode Goofs

Only 75 extras were used to film all the riot scenes at the school If you look closely, you can see the same groups of people in different sets of clothing to create the effect of a school-wide riot.

According to the timeline, Vic's about to hit his 15th year. Problem is, this show doesn't follow standard timelines. For us, it's been four years since the Pilot, going on 5th year. For the series, they're in the middle of Year 3 (2 1/2 years since Crowley was killed). So by our math, Vic started back in 1991. But in the show's timeline, he started somewhere between 1992 and 1994, depending on what year you think the show currently is at.

Look closely at the security camera footage from the minimart. It's pre-recorded. In the footage, Vic turns his head left before the camera pans over to them. But when it shows them in real life, he's looking to this right.
