Subject: • New Episodes, Strange Dates?
A number of you have messaged into me and asked about the new episodes being posted for Season 6. First, let me make it well know right now that new episode are currently being filmed in L.A, and as of this date only a third of the season looks to be written. We are getting episode titles (which we know could be changed) as they're being filmed. Second, you'll see the dates are being put up for 2007. Why? Because when it comes to FX and their scheduling, we always assume the worst. Shawn Ryan (read the TVGuide interview if you don't know this) was hoping for a late 2006 release. But it doesn't matter when you or even Shawn Ryan want the episodes to air, it's the network's call. And when you get right down to it, FX is more likely to make people wait in order to get a bigger rating. Knowing that, we're expecting this material to be held over until the start of the year like every other season before it. On the bright side, you'll know what's coming six months before it happens. Only time will tell when official dates will hit, so stay tuned.
