Homer and the workers at the Nuclear Plant are all sad that Ted, their supervisor, is retiring. But when Mr. Burns discovers Carl’s talent of keeping things clean and fixed, Burns gives Carl the job of supervisor. Meanwhile, Marge and a group called “Philanthro-Chicks” are planning their yearly fundraiser, and they agree to make a calendar with sexy photographs that resemble great points in American history. However, Marge is a bit reluctant to show any skin on the photos, but after the photographer gives her wine, she is more than happy to dress off, making some of the sexiest pictures Springfield has ever seen.

This episode is directly connected to the November 2009 issue of "Playboy" that has Marge Simpson on the cover. The company's CEO Scott Flanders (yes, Flanders, but not Ned) has confirmed that they have her on the cover to attract younger readers to their magazines, since their average reader is about 35 years old.
Couch Gag: The Simpsons are in the jungle, all enter wearing jungle clothes and they sit down on a tree right in the middle of a small pool of mud. The tree can't support their weight and the family drops down under the mud and wee see their breathing as bubbles coming up from the mud. In the next shot, the family members are just skeletons still sitting on the tree, but when the camera zoomes out, we see that their bodies are at a Museum inside a glass box.
Chalkboard: I do not have the hots for my Mom.
Rod: We thought you were gonna die.
Tod: And then Uncle Kevin would have to raise us.
Rod: And his funny friend, David.
Flanders: Oh I'd put rocks in your pocket and walk you out to sea for before I'd let that happen.
Lenny: I'm gonna miss Ted, he was a good supervisor.
Carl: Definitely hands off. He didn't mind if we punched out late.
Homer: And he didn't mind that we made a few changes to the soda machine...mmm... beer.
Marge: You two are going out? I thought I told you the Flanderers were coming over for dinner.
Lisa: I'm having a tea party at Jamie's.
Bart: And I'm having a stink bomb party at the house next to Jamie's... no connection.
In this episode Carl is promoted to Homer's supervisor, but in Season02|Episode22 Blood Feud, Carl is already Homer's supervisor.
Title Reference: "The Devil Wears Nada"
The title is a parody of the 2003 best-selling novel "The Devil Wears Prada" and the 2006 film adaption with the same name. There are no connections other than that.
