Couch Gag: Instead of the couch, The Simpsons (dressed as Victorian-era Christmas carolers) appear next to a Christmas tree and sing a parody of "The 12 Days of Christmas," featuring twelve Grampas grumbling (as they stand in a customer return line), eleven Barneys belching (as they lie drunk in the snow), ten Lennys leaping (over a fence), nine Carls dancing (in a ballroom), eight Moes a-milking, seven Selmas smoking, six Flanders praying, five golden Frinks (Professor Frink's heads are on five gold coins), four crawling nerds (Database, Wendell, Martin, and Milhouse crawling from Nelson Muntz), three-eyed fish (Blinky from "Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish"), two special Ralphs, and (as the Simpsons walk to the couch), a Maggie in a Snuggly.

Bart: Dad! Lisa's making me see things from both sides again!
Homer: Lisa, I warned you about that!
Lisa: Shouldn't Bart have all the information he needs to make an informed decision?
Homer: Now you're doing it to me, aww...

Bart: Willie, I know you witnessed the most awesome prank since creation.
Willie: I'll nay speak to you of those dark times, Bart Simpson.
Bart: But if there was a more awesome dude than I, I need to know who he was, what he did and how many days detention he got.

Marge: From now on our family is eating healthy food that looks bad on the shelf and good in our colon.

Right before Marge says "Are you talking about your father", she is about to chop one carrot and has 2 to the side.

She stops chopping to talk to Bart but when she says the line "when you care about someone, it's not being out of line to give them a gentle push in the right direction", she's suddenly chopping the last carrot.
