Episode Notes
Chalkboard Gag:

I Will Not Wear White After Labor Day

Couch Gag:

Homer, Marge, Lisa & Bart emerge from cocoons as beautiful butterflies.
Suddenly a mallet crushes the couch w/ the shot widening to reveal, Gerald Samson (the baby with the one eyebrow) at the Ayn Rand Day Care Center attempting to crush the Simpsons in a doll house that just happens to look like their living room.

A chase ensues past a fish tank which holds Blinky the three eyed fish into another room where the Simpson-flies hide against a mobile.
Gerald smashes the mobile and chases them down a hallway where the Simpsons see an open door.
As the door slowly closes however, a pacifier jams the door open allowing the Simpsons to escape and Gerald plows face first into it.
Maggie picks up said pacifier and puts in her mouth and opens the door and waves goodbye to the Simpsons as the fly off into the sunset.

Moonshine River garnered a 3.7 18/49 Demo & was seen by 7.97 Million Viewers

The end of the episode featured a dedication to Andy Williams who died on September 25 2012, at 84. He was mentioned or featured in four episodes of The Simpsons. Possibly most notably in Season Seven's Bart on the Road when Nelson Muntz forced Bart to stop in Branson Missouri so he could see Andy in concert.

Just like Season 23's Ned & Edna poll, FOX is letting the public submit their own couch ideas to feature on the season finale.

Episode Goofs
When Bart takes out his box of 'precious junk', the cord on his Krusty phone is missing.

Bart's precious box of junk changes places during his conversation with Homer.
First it's on his lap, then it's on the bed with the lid propped on the box...

...then when scene cuts back to Bart, the lid is on & finally seems to vanish completely

...only to reappear next to Homer.

Homer places the microwave on Bart's nightstand with a good bit of it hanging over the edge but when he picks up the phone to drunk dial, it's moved further back on the nightstand.
