Marge needed to use a calculator to multiply 52 by 100 even though it'd be fairly easy to tell that the answer would be 5200 by doing it in her head.
The carrot food contains 88% ash, 12% carrots.

Mr. Burns tells Smithers that he "Keeps his friends close, but your enemies closer." This is said by Michael Corleone in the 1974 film.
Alexander Graham Bell
Burns saying to Smithers, "Smithers, come here I want you" is a reference to Alexander's Graham Bell's famous phrase when he invented the telephone: "Watson, come I want you."
