In this year's gruesomely ghoulish Halloween gift package, Homer goes insane while house-sitting in a winter home in "The Shinning", Homer travels through time and alters reality while fixing the toaster in "Time and Punishment", and Springfield Elementary use the bad kids as a new food source in "Nightmare Cafeteria".

Episode Notes |
| |
The third time Willy gets killed with an axe he says, "Boy, I'm horrible with this rescuing stuff," indicating that he knows that he has been killed two other times. | Homer thinks he found the right universe until he finds out that donuts don't exist. Right as he leaves, donuts begin to fall from the sky, but in that universe it is considered rain. Homer just missed living in his idea of Heaven. | Maggie actually talks in this episode right after she kills Willy (who has now been killed by an axe twice in this episode). | Chalkboard: None | Couch: The Simpson family members are built à la Frankenstein’s monster with each other’s body parts. They try to retrieve their own parts, but it’s not an improvement. |

Episode Quotes |
| |
Marge sees "No beer and cable make Homer go crazy" written all over the walls; Homer bursts into the room
Homer: What do you think Marge? I'm thinking of the title "No beer and cable make Homer something something".
Marge: Go crazy?
Homer: Don't mind if I do. (Homer proceeds to go crazy) | Everyone: Many dancing people,
Covered with blood, gore and glop
Just one sniff of that fog
And you're inside out,
It's worse than that flesh-eating virus
You've read about.
Vital organs, they are what we're dressed in.
The family dog is eyeing Bart's intestine.
Hap-py Hal-lo-we'en! | Homer: Hmm, cable's out. I think I'll have a beer. Hmm, not a drop in the house. What do you know.
Marge: Homer, I'm impressed! You're taking this quite well.
Homer: I'll kill you! I'll kill all of you!
Marge: Homer!
Homer: Sorry, sorry. Don't worry, there's plenty I can do to keep myself occupied. Maybe I'll check out that axe collection. See you later.
Lisa: Mom, is dad going to kill us?
Marge: We're going to just have to wait and see. |
