<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
The Shinning: After a long road trip, the family makes it to Mr. Burns' winter lodge as his caretakers. Mr. Burns gives them a tour, showing them many gruesome artifacts and blood. Afterwards, Mr. Burns cuts off cable and takes away all the beer, he believes they will be working all winter. While Willie is working in the hedges, Bart finds a shortcut through his hedge maze, getting Willie so upset, but he suppresses that anger in his brain. Bart immediately reads his mind, and Willie tells him he has "The Shinning". Meanwhile, Homer discovers there is no beer or cable television, he suddenly loses his mind for a second, and threatens to kill the family. While waiting in the bar inside the house, he meets the ghost of Moe, who says he'll give him beer if Homer kills his family. Homer grabs an ax, and breaks through various doors in the house until he finds the one with the family, and tries to kill them. Unfortunately, he fails, and Marge has him locked up in a room. After going on another murderous rampage, the other members of the family try to get help, and Bart uses his "shinning" to call Willie. After Willie makes his way in to save them, he gets killed by Homer with an ax. As Homer approaches his family as they try to outrun him in the snow, Lisa finds Willie's portable TV, which she shows Homer, eventually ridding him of his urge to kill (That is, until the Tony Awards.)

Time and Punishment: Homer is peacefully eating breakfast with his family, when he realizes his hand is jammed in the toaster. After taking it off, he goes to the basement to fix it. After doing so, he take the toaster for a test toast, resulting in him traveling back in time. He goes back to the land of the dinosaurs, where he tries to remember his father's wedding advice (If you travel back in time, don't touch anything, because even the tiniest move can change the future in ways he can't imagine.) After killing a mosquito, he goes back in time and finds out that the world is now owned by Ned Flanders. After resisting a total frontal lobotomy, he goes back in time again. This repeats itself, with Homer coming back to find giant Bart and Lisa, fabulous house and family, Willie once again getting killed by an ax, this time by Maggie, etc., until he decides he has found his real time again. He discovers that the family now has lizard tongues, but he's cool with it.

Nightmare Cafeteria: The detention level in Springfield Elementary has been skyrocketing, and the school meals are rapidly declining. Principal Skinner tries to find out a common solution to his problem and Lunch Lady Doris' problem. He figures it out when Jimbo trips her, spilling food all over him. Principal Skinner takes a lick of him, and decides to cook him. Bart tries to find out what happened to him, and the next person to disappear mysteriously was Uter. Bart and Lisa find out that they're cooking kids at the school cafeteria, and try to get out of the situation. While Bart, Lisa, and Milhouse try to make a break for it, the faculty starts going after them. Willie tries to save them, but once again, he is killed by an ax by Principal Skinner. After the trio is cornered, they try to find a way out, but Milhouse gets killed. Bart tries to find a way to save Lisa and himself, but they are killed also. Bart then wakes up, realizing it was only a dream. Marge tells him that there's nothing to fear, except for that fog that turns people inside-out. The fogs seeps in through the window, turning the family inside out, and they begin a musical number, with Bart getting eaten by Santa's Little Helper at the end.
