Recap
Santa's Little Helper has been acting a little friskier than usual, and the Simpsons try to find out why. After finding him in the dog racing track, they discover he's in love with another female dog. The Simpsons decide to keep her, and the dogs eventually make twenty-five puppies. Although the Simpsons love the puppies very much, they've become too much of a nuisance, and decide to give them away. Later, Mr. Burns comes and take the puppies away. Bart and Lisa find out about this, and make an attempt to get them back. While spying on Mr. Burns through a window, they discover that he was planning on killing the puppies and using their hide to make a tuxedo. Bart and Lisa jump into action and take away the puppies, but Mr. Burns catches on to them. Bart and Lisa eventually come up with a plan to prevent him from killing the puppies, and Mr. Burns is convinced that animals like these are too innocent to be killed. He promises to never wear another animal again (that can do an amusing trick)...

Episode Quotes
See My Vest Lyrics
Smithers: Are you sure you want to go through with this, Sir? You have an awfully full wardrobe as it is.
Mr. Burns: Yes, but not completely full, for you see... (Singing)
Some men hunt for sport
others hunt for food.
The only thing I'm hunting for
is an outfit that looks good.
See... my... vest! See my vest!
Made from real gorilla's chest.
Feel this sweater.
There's no better than authentic Irish Setter.
See this hat? T'was my cat.
My evening wear - vampire bat.
These white slippers are albino
African endangered rhino.
Grizzly bear underwear.
Turtles' necks, I've got my share.
Beret of poodle, on my noodle it shall rest.
Try my red robin suit!
It comes one breast or two!
See my vest. See me vest. See my vest.
Like my loafers? Former gofers.
It was that, or skin my shoafers.
But a greyhound fur tuxedo would be best.
So let's prepare these dogs.
Maid: Kill two for matching clogs!
Mr. Burns (Singing): See my vest. See my vest. Oh please, won't you see my vest?
(spoken) I really like the vest.
Homer: Your mother and I have been thinking about giving the puppies away.
Bart / Lisa: Nooooooooooo!!!
Homer: Mainly your mother!
Lisa: Is that what we do in this family, when somebody becomes an inconvenience we just get rid of them?
(scene changes to the Retirement Castle, where Grampa is in his room, lonely)
Grampa: (picks up phone, which didn't ring) Hello! Is anybody there? Awww...
Bart: Santa's Little Helper doesn't want to do anything ever since this bitch moved in.
Marge: Bart, don't ever say that word again.
Bart: But that's what she is. I looked it up.
Marge: Well, I'm going to write the dictionary people. It seems like a mistake.
