The Simpsons: Viva Ned Flanders

After Flanders reveals that he's 60 years old and looks young because he's never done anything reckless in his life, everyone in town begins pitying Flanders for being a prude. In an attempt to show Flanders a good time, Homer takes him to Las Vegas, where they gamble and drink--and end up married to two sleazy barmaids named Amber and Ginger.

Episode Notes
Chalkboard: My mom is not dating Jerry Seinfeld

In the scene where Homer and Flanders are at the roulette table, Homer says that Barney Gumble's birthday is on April 20th "same day as Hitler's". In reruns and on the season 10 DVD, the line was changed to "Barney's birthday is July 15th, same day as Lassie's".

Couch: Repeat of the couch gag from "Realty Bites" where Matt Groening's live-action left hand turns a picture of The Simpsons on the couch into a messy, painted blur.

Episode Quotes
Homer: Alright, lets get our story straight for Marge and Maude. We were out buying them fabulous gifts.
Ned: What's the occasion?
Homer: Because we love them, jackass! Anywho, we came out of Walmart, when suddenly 100 spaceships..
Ned: Homer!
Homer: You're right, you're right. 50 spaceships beamed us aboard. They gang probed you, while I discovered an invention that blew their heads up and saved America.
Ned: Uh, do I have to be gang probed?
Homer: Would you rather tell Maude the truth?
Ned: What do the aliens look like?
Homer: Well, I only saw them from the back, cause they were so busy gang probing you!

Marge: You'd better stop and get the car washed..
Homer: Ah, what's the rush? It might rain next week.
Lenny: Hey Homer... Car's kinda dirty!
Homer: Really? Think I should get it washed?
Lenny: Yeah, maybe.
(Homer pulls into car wash.)
Marge: You listen to your friends but you never listen to me...
Homer: Hey, that's great!

Homer: Well, well, well. Flawless Flanders wants help from Stinkypants Simpson.
Ned: Yeah, I guess I do.
Homer: Welly, welly, welly. Mr. Clean wants to hang with Dirty Dingus McGee.
Ned: Well, will you teach me the secret of your intoxicating lust for life?
Homer: Wellity, wellity, wellity--
Ned: Stop that!

Maude: Well, you may be a little cautious, but what's the harm? Some people like chunky peanut butter and some like smooth.
Flanders: And some people prefer to steer clear of that hornet's nest altogether! I'll take a piece of plain white bread, thank you, maybe with a --
Maude, Rod, and Todd: Glass of water on the side for dipping!
