Episode Notes |
| |
Chalkboard: None | Couch: After watching Kang and Kodos's lame Halloween special, the family members (mostly) appear as characters in previous Halloween episodes: Homer is a jack-in-the-box (from "Treehouse of Horror II"), Bart is a mutant fly (from "Treehouse of Horror VIII"), Marge is a witch (also from "Treehouse of Horror VIII"), and Maggie is an alien (from last season's "Treehouse of Horror" ["Treehouse of Horror IX"]); Lisa, an ax murder victim (the only one not based on a previous episode), asks what aliens have to do with Halloween. Maggie yells, "Silence!" in a deep voice before disintegrating Lisa with a ray gun. |

Episode Quotes |
| |
Lisa: Look at the wonders of modern technology now.
Homer: Wonders, Lisa, or blunders?
Lisa: I think that was implied by what i just said.
Homer: Implied or implode?
Lisa: Mom, make him stop! | (as the second-rate celebrities sing)
Bart: Don't worry, Dad. We'll be dead in five minutes.
Homer: NOT FAST ENOUGH!
(Homer pushes the eject button on their seats. The seats take off out of the rocket and they float through the atmosphere. Because of the vacuum of space, their heads grow big and explode.) | Homer: Hello?
Mysterious Voice: I know you're alone!
Homer: Uh... who is this?
Mysterious Voice: Is this... Maude Flanders?
Homer: No it's Homer...
Moe: Oh! Hey Homer, it's Moe! I must have dialed the wrong number. | Homer: Hey….we just got away with murder! And it was so easy (sees Milhouse in street) you know… I've never liked that little wiener Milhouse (turns to run over, Marge stops him)
Marge: No more murders!
Homer: But you got to kill…
Marge: No! |
