This episode's title is an adaptation of “A Star is Born”, a 1937 romantic drama directed by William A. Wellman that starred Janet Gaynor & Fredric March which was later remade in 1954 starring Judy Garland & James Mason and remade yet again in 1976 starring Barbra Streisand & Kris Kristofferson.
