Episode Quotes

"Homer and Marge"
(Sung by Weird Al Yankovic)

Little ditty 'bout Homer and Marge
Her heart was as big as his stomach was large
Oh yeah, they say love goes on
Long after the grilled cheese sandwich is gone
(During credits)
That's the story 'bout Homer and Marge
Two folks I helped out for a nominal charge
After Homer went gay, they patched up their schism
But the dude never dealt with his alcoholism
Weird Al sayin'... oh yeah, the credits go on
Long after the viewer's interest is gone
Oh yeah, Weird Al had fun on this show
Even if it was just a brief cameo.

(Homer is walking around oblivious to the fact that the whole neighborhood is gay when Smithers comes up to him in rainbow shorts and on rollerblades.)
Homer: Hey, Mr. Smithers!
Smithers: (Nervously) Hello, Simpson.
Homer: What's with this place? It's so manly, yet scented.
Smithers: Yes, I seem to have gotten lost on my way to the uh, the uh, the big auto, uh, racing festival, so I've never been here before.
(A trolley full of gay men comes by)
First Guy: Hey, Waylon!
Second Guy: Who's the bear? Ruff!
Third Guy: Oooh, is this the Mr. Burns you're always talking about?
Smithers: No, he's nobody! Shut up, Stewart!

(Homer is dancing at a gay club)
Woman: I didn't think it was possible, but watching him makes me even more lesbian.
Hans Moleman: Lesbian? This isn't my army reunion.
Gay Man in Fatigues: You're coming home with me.
Hans Moleman: Yes, Colonel.
