The wreckage of a plane downed in Himalayas during the WW II and piloted by Steve's father contains a valuable document and Steve must retrieve it. Likewise, Steve learns that possibly his father bailed off the plane leaving his crew behind, which might brand him as a coward. There is a chance that he is still alive.
