I must agree. But I wanted Carmela to have to live on a K-Mart wage. LOL |

I gotta admit it was kind of strange at first but i watched it like 6 or 7 times (just the stupid ending) and its good! if you think about it.
After what they build up in the last few eps i thought they would go out in fing blaze... but this was mellow and bit paranoid imo the perfect ending for this series. Because honestly I wasn't really happy with the ending I thought The Sporanos will get.
I guess I never saw it coming just like Tony... a peace of art - not much else to say.
Cheers |

It's exactly what I expected of the Sopranos. I was telling my friend all season that there will be no real conclusion to the show. Things will be pretty much what they've always been on the Sopranos, which is exactly what that show delivered. The show has never really concluded many of the big story lines in the past so I don't see how anyone can expect the show to suddenly do that at the end. The show has always been a mediocre story with excellent characters and acting that is shot beautifully. I enjoyed the Sopranos and would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen the show, but I cannot say it's one the greatest shows of all time. I would have been disappointed if Tony was killed in the end. It just wouldn't be true to what the show has always been. |

The ending is starting to grow on me, but I still wish I had a complete and satisfying ending that was more obvious. I guess I'll make it in my mind Tony got wacked. |

The more I think about the ending, the more I love it. At first it kinda sucked (like most of America, I thought the recording I got wasn't long enough or something) but it's growing on me as well. It ended the show like it began -- family dinner, not knowing if today will be their last or if they'll live to be old.
Personally, I was glad it wasn't a cheesy, contrived happy ending. That wouldn't be much of a Sopranos ending. But I did read something about how James Gandolfini is pissed about the ending.
And Leotardo's death was kinda awesome. Very gruesome. Loved it. |
