| Show Tidbits | Gigi Levangie Grazer, in a press tour just prior to the miniseries broadcast, said she got the idea for the book while walking on the beach. "I came upon a woman in her 50s, who had been dumped by a big movie star. She was speaking to this man who I know very well and whom I know is homeless. He's very good-looking, and she was flirting with him – and I thought, that's a novel."
| The mini-series was filmed on location in Hamilton, Queensland Austrlia, where the sun and beach became the Malibu, California seashore.
