The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

When Carrie Martin lands a job as the headlining singer at the classy Tipton Hotel in Boston, she and her twins, Zack and Cody Martin, permanently move into one of the hotel room suites.

The boys take full advantage of their new home and are indeed living the "suite life" as they fully utilize everything the hotel has to offer, including room service, the game room, and of course the hotel pool. They always seem to be getting on the nerves of Mr. Moseby, the hotel manager, who thinks of them as the hotel pests.

Maddie Fitzpatrick runs the gift shop candy counter and also occasionally baby sits the troublesome twins, during which time she always seems to be getting roped into their hair-brained schemes.

Finally, the heiress to the hotel, London Tipton lives in a hotel suite as well as her father is always away on business. She is incredibly rich and spoiled, and to be honest, she's not the brightest young woman.

The twins also meet a lot of other interesting characters in the hotel such as Esteban the bellboy, Muriel the lazy housekeeper, and Arwin the inventor/janitor of the hotel.

Theme Song
Here I Am
Written by John Adair and Steve Hampton & Performed by Loren Ellis and The Drew Davis Band

Here I am in your life,
Here you are in mine
Guess we have a suite life, most of the time.
You and me, we've got the world to see,
So come on down.
Just me and you know what to do,
so come on down.
It's you and me, me and you,
We've got the whole place to ourselves.
You and me, we got it all for free, so come on down.
This is the suite life.
We've got a suite life.

The series premiered in March of 2005, and now in it's third season, it's currently the 2nd highest rated series on the Disney Channel. It is also the 3rd Disney Channel series to be extended past the '65 episode rule' which caused Disney shows to be canceled after 65 episodes to prevent it from becoming a huge sensation. The first show to do so was That's So Raven because of popularity Kim Possible followed.

Hitting Target MarketRating: 3 likes, 0 dislikes

The show is great for the age group that watches the Disney channel. It has all the elements of a hit television series. The young relatable, yet a little naive person(s) and the caring parent. The crushes and the adventures. The over-the-top humor and the dumb, snobby rich kid. The show can grow stale after hearing the laugh track a million times throughout an episode. But, I guess this show has all the elements for a "Suite" television series. Read more
