The Talk

The Talk is a live daytime talk show created by Sara Gilbert. The news of the day is discussed by a panel of five women, who share their opinions through 'mothers eyes'. They are joined by celebrity guests and some shows feature musical performances.

The format of the show was derived from ABC's morning rival show The View which has been on air since 1997. The format has spawned over spin-offs across the globe. The Australian version of the show The Circle aired on Ten between 2010 and 2012. Whilst the UK version of the show Loose Women has been on air on ITV since 1999. The French version of the show Le Grand 8 |(The Great 8) has been on air since October 2012 on D8.
