This live-action series is based off of the popular comic book "The Tick" which also had a cartoon version. The shows whole run is available on DVD.

The Tick is just your simple, everyday, average... blue muscular guy who fights crime. As a superhero in The City, The Tick must fight the evils of The City and make sure that justice is always served. With his body that can handle insurmountable amounts of pain, and a goofy wit that always keeps him positive, The Tick wrangles every villain that is sent his way. Assisting The Tick is his good friend Arthur, who is new to the superhero world. Having quit his job as an accountant to chase his long time dream, Arthur is The Moth. However, though his heart and soul may be into the job, he doesn't contain quite the natural talent The Tick does. Also helping out is Batmanuel, a famous and rather suave superhero who has been around the block a time or two. Rounding out the gang is Captain Liberty, the female of the group, who is a well known superhero herself. Fighting surprisingly well for a lady, she is a valuable commodity to the group, one who never fails to stand up for herself. Together, the group will face anything that comes at them, protecting The City and its people at all costs.
