Wesley has been sending items to his granddaughter, but the always keep coming back. After another item is returned, Dorothy Jane convinces Millicent to call the girl's mother and see if she can get to the bottom of the situation. Much to everyone's surprise, including Wesley, his estranged daughter-in-law and his granddaughter arrive for a visit and learn the true reason why the gifts were never received.
