: Series finale and Henry’s rein is about to end. The scene opens with a horse running through a forest and a quote from King Henry VIII. Henry is talking to Charles Brandon and asks what something a man can never take back is. Time is what the King has been thinking about lately. Meanwhile, Bishop Gardiner signs the warrant of Catherine’s arrest. Prince Edward has mastered his Latin as he welcomes the French Admiral to court. Catherine, Mary and Elizabeth greet him too. On the side, Lady Mary and Gardiner talk about how Lord Hartford has control over Prince Edward and that the claim to Catherine’s heresy is coming close to an end. King Henry enters and tells that they’re going to sign a new treaty with France and King Henry tells that he has changed the religion of England. He tells that Mass for both realms are to be a simple ceremony and not a big thing. The Admiral falls to his knees and says that he cannot negotiate the terms and says that King Francis is dying of Syphilis. : The scene opens at Whitehall Palace in London 1545. A servant walks up to a newly aged Kind Henry and hands him a magnifying glass. Lord Hartford (John Seymour) enters in and tells that Lord Surrey lost 600 men at another Battle of Boulogne including Captains of the army too. King Henry tells his lords that Lord Surrey is to be brought back to England to be examined. Grimsley is given the rank of Baron and Charles Brandon tells that the Emperor is commanding that people rally against England and to take their ships. The French Ambassador stops Lord Hartford in the hall and tells that the King's disease and plague is due to the fact that he took Boulogne from the French and to try to convince the King to give up. Gardiner and Grimsley talk and they plan to push the King more of the "heresies" of the people. Charles admits that Bridgette is his mistress to his son Henry and Henry is ok by it and Henry tells Catherine that he is tired of the betrayal of everyone in his service. She tells the King that she wrote a book. "The Lamentations of a Sinner". Bishop Gardiner enters and tells that they want to arrest an Anne Aschew for being a heretic. : The Tudors are back and they continue on with the season. When we left Henry and his realm, King Henry was in Boulogne, France with the possibilities of spies in Henry’s camp and Catherine appointing Lutherans into her household. And of course the Bloody Flux! At the camp more people are dying of Dysentery and the body count is outrageous. Lord Surrey is upset about the lack of food and the digging continues to go on. The physician is meeting with the King and he tells that 2,000 have died of the Flux and another 3,000 are ill from it. The physician tells the King that people need to be transported out of the area. This outrages Henry and he tells the physician that the men are not sick of the flux but of cowardice. : The episode begins with King Henry talking to his Lords and tells Charles Brandon that he is to be appointed the Captain of his armies. Henry informs them that the Duke of Neher, the most successful to the Emperor is to come to court. Henry tells that he has always wanted to get King Francis and that he is a keeper of his word. The Marriage commences between Henry and Catherine. They exchange vows and a newly happy Lady Mary claps to the marriage. At Dinner, the newly appointed Queen Catherine tells the King that she would love to see the Lady Elizabeth and Prince Edward more and that Elizabeth should have permanent lodgings in the castle like Mary does. : With Catherine beheaded and all the others involved taken care of as well, we move on to happier times. “The Tudors” this week continues in Hundson House where Mary tells Elizabeth and they are restored to the throne again. To anyone this would be wonderful news and to the look on Mary’s face the happiest she has ever heard. But, to this news Elizabeth vows that she will never marry because of what happened to Catherine Howard. Back at the castle, the newly single King Henry meets with The Spanish Ambassador Chapuis and they talk about how the Emperor is offering the hand of friendship towards King Henry and that they go together against the French. Of course the whole “Quid Pro Quo” goes on and Henry is offered that he would gain back all of his lost properties and the whole of Aquitaine. To this the King seems in better spirits and calls the French Ambassador in. He informs that the French King has defaulted on his pension to England for two years and now has to pay one million crowns to him. The French Ambassador warns that the alliances between France and England have kept balance for years and that it would be foolish to break such an alliance. But King Henry has other plans with that. He speaks to his Lords that the King of Scotland must stop the fighting and sign a treaty.
