Recap
Kids are playing baseball in the park and Old Ben is called up to bat by his friend Jenny, who has a leg brace. Old Ben bats it over the tree line and the kids accuse him of using magic again. Jenny suggests they do something else and they play “Spaceman.” The kids talk about how Old Ben is the only one who can transform into stuff and he agrees to be the Martian. Jenny describes how they’ll play as the crew and Old Ben goes behind some rocks to attack them. The kids start the game and go on their mission, and a hideous alien monster moves from behind the rock. All of the kids pretend-shoot and the monster falls back… and turns into Old Ben...

Episode Quotes
Opening Narration
Narrator: Its been said science fiction and fantasy are two different things: science fiction, the improbable made possible; fantasy, the impossible made probable. What would you have if you put these two different things together? Well, you'd have an old man named Ben who knows a lot of tricks most people don't know and a little girl named Jenny who loves him - and a journey into the heart of the Twilight Zone.
Mrs. Gann: I should beat you until you can’t sit down, but I won’t because I’m too tired.
Old Ben: Now that isn’t respectful, Jenny. You must remember that Mrs. Gann is a very nervous person and she isn’t wholly responsible for her behavior.
Jenny:: Then who is?
Old Ben: Well, I’m not too sure, but in any case you try to forgive her.
Jenny: Ben?
Old Ben:: Yes?
Jenny: How come those men are after you? Are you a criminal?
Old Ben:: In a way, yes.
Jenny: What’d you do, rob a bank?
Old Ben:: No.
Jenny: Kill somebody?
Old Ben:: No.
Jenny: Then you must be a Communist.
Mrs. Gann: Who you talking to?
Jenny: Myself.
Mrs. Gann: Cut it out, you’ll go crazy that way.
Closing Narration
Narrator: Mrs.Gann will be in for a big surprise when she finds this [photo of a young man] under Jenny's pillow, because Mrs.Gann has more temper than imagination. She'll never dream that this is a picture of Old Ben as he really looks, and it will never occur to her that eventually her niece will grow up to be an honest-to-goodness Queen - somewhere in the Twilight Zone.
