Recap
Taro, a Japanese gardener and Fenton, a WWII veteran are trapped together in an attic. Taro spies a samurai sword in which Fenton claims to have taken from a dead soldier. Taro tells him that his father was a hero of Pearl Harbor, but in actuality was a traitor who signaled the enemy where to launch their bombs. Taro determines that Fenton had killed a surrendering soldier and the stole his sword from him. Fenton admits he is guilty, making Taro want to kill him. They begin fighting and Fenton soon falls upon the sword. Taro yells "Banzai" and leaps out the attic window...

Opening Narration
Narrator: Two men alone in an attic: a young Japanese-American and a seasoned veteran of yesterday's war. It's twenty-odd years since Pearl Harbor, but two ancient opponents are moving into position for a battle in an attic crammed with skeletons--souvenirs, mementos, old uniforms and rusted medals--ghosts from the dim reaches of the past that will lead us into...the Twilight Zone.
Taro: I grew up in Honolulu. I was at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed.
Fenton: Were you one of the pilots?
Closing Narration
Narrator: Two men in an attic, locked in mortal embrace. Their common bond and their common enemy: guilt. A disease all too prevalent among men, both in and out of the Twilight Zone.
