Perennial loser Vince Hansen is approached by two black-clad individuals who say he's been chosen. He refuses to listen but soon realize that they're approaching his friends and neighbors... and they're disappearing one at a time.

Vince Hansen is at home trying to deal with a credit card company after he's been laid off. He hangs up and the doorbell rings. Outside are a man and women dressed in black. They address him by name and introduces themselves as Muriel and Michael. They tell him that he's been chosen for a whole new life. Vince doesn't believe them but they insist that they are there to help. He says he needs a job and a girlfriend and tells them to leave. They hand him a white package as a gift and he reluctantly takes it as they leave. Inside is a DVD. Host: (opening narration) Now that's a sales pitch Vincent Hansen doesn't hear every day. But what exactly did they mean by chosen? In the Twilight Zone, Vince is about to find out the answer, whether he wants to or not.
"Speed" Moorcock: So, how's the job search coming?
Vince Hansen: Well, I'm supposed to see Doyle this afternoon. He thinks he may have something lined up for me at the shop.
"Speed" Moorcock: Doyle? Doyle's a surly bastard.
Vince Hansen: Yeah. So are you.
"Speed" Moorcock: That's your problem, man. You hang out with the wrong kind of people.
Vince Hansen: Well, I'm supposed to see Doyle this afternoon. He thinks he may have something lined up for me at the shop.
"Speed" Moorcock: Doyle? Doyle's a surly bastard.
Vince Hansen: Yeah. So are you.

Host: (closing narration) In a world about to end, Vince Hansen was given a chance at salvation, but leave it to Vince, one of life's perpetual losers, to make the wrong choice, and to wind up just another cinder on the ash heap somewhere... in the Twilight Zone.
