Sports agent Scott Turner has a flat tire on the parkway and is waiting for the tow truck to show up. As he waits, he argues with one of his clients on the phone. Finishing the call, he goes off into the bushes to relieve himself. However, when he tries to go back he discovers that his car, and the road, have disappeared. He makes his way through the forest and finally finds a beautifully furnished house. Going inside, he finds a woman, Marisa Sanborn. She identifies herself as a real estate agent and explains that she got out of her car and went into the forest, and lost the parkway as well. They discover that their cell phones and even their watches don’t work. There are no clocks, telephones, or electrical appliances. Marisa says there are no mountains or hills in the area, but directs Scott to a window where they are clearly visible...
