<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
Rashad makes the next fight announcement right of the beginning of the episode. He picks Matt Mitrione to fight Scott Junk, and Marcus Jones will fight Michael Wessel

Rashad and Rampage get into a verbal confrontation. Rampage’s team losing streak is starting to make snap. Rashad sees Rampage as the deciding factor in the fights saying that Rampage didn’t do his best.

Matt Mitrione and Team Rashad do their training. Matt talks about his time in the NFL. A rumor gets around that Wessell is afraid to fight Scott Junk. Junk and Wessell talk about it.

We see Scott train. Team Rampage as in previous fights is confident that they will win. They think this fight will be no contest.

We see Matt train. Matt learns that’s one of his teammates joked around slapping Team Rashad does their training. When Matt trains with the very guy who said he’d slapped, he loses it. However, Rashad breaks it up. Rashad lectures to Mitrione about saving his aggression for the fight.

Junk continues to trash talk Mitrione thinking this fight is in the bag for him. Mitrione doesn’t like Junk but doesn’t appear worried about the fight.

Fight day arrives, and we see the Tale Of The Tape. Both fighters are practically identical in every category from age (thirty years old) to height (six feet tall) to reach.

Round One starts with Mitrione throwing a couple of strikes Junk’s way. Junk is cautious moving in. Then Junk throws a kick in then Mitrione explodes on him with rights and left. Junk falls down and starts backing off. Mitrione lets Junk get back. Junk tries to retaliate the same way but doesn’t accomplish it. The two strike each other. Junk appears to land a couple of jabs, but Mitrione once again appears to land the heavier blows. He throws a right cross that knocks Junk to the mat again. This time Mitrione moves in for the kill and lands a couple of strikes while Junk is on back side. The two strike again. Once again Junk appears to be cautious with his strikes. Mitrione lands another right cross knocking down Junk for the third time in a fight. Mitrione has Junk on his hands and knees. He hits Junk on the side of the head with no defense from Junk. Matt a couple of knees to Junk’s gut. It appears that the fight might be over here.

Amazingly, Mitrione can’t finish Junk off. On the next exchange, Junk tries to swing wildly at Mitrione. Instead he falls on the matt for about the fourth in the fight. Mitrione is dominating the fight literally picking his spots and raining down blows on Junk.

Junk finally gets a couple of hits thanks to lack of cardio conditoning from both fighters. The horn sounds down before he can really do any more.

Round Two starts of as a cautious round for both guys. Junk is more aggressive sensing that he lost the first round. Mitrione finally gets down by Junk with a take down. Junk is able to land a couple of strikes. However, not much force is behind them. The referee finally asks both men to stand and strike when it appears that they are both out of wind.

Matt lands a kick to the gut then throws a couple of rights and lefts staggering Junk. He does it one more time with a minute and fifteen remaining.

Eventually the horn sounds. The judges examine their scores. Matt Mitrione is declared the winner. Rampage is so upset with the result that he takes apart the Ultimate Fighter door in the gym.
