Clips from the last episode are shown then we move to Forrest Griffin and Dana White talk about evaluating the fighters. We move to preparation of a fight between Dan Simmler and Matthew Riddle. Simmler talks about the expectations for him. He says his stand up game is limited but he is good at Jiu-Jitsu. Riddle calls the UFC "the olympics of fighting".In Round 1 Riddle takes Simmler to the ground, the two grapple with Simmler wrapping his legs on Riddle. Riddle swings at Simmler but misses. Simmler is able to push off Riddler and the two go back to stand up. Simmler launches a wide right kick which misses. Riddler catches Simmler's left foot trying to catch him of balance. Simmler tries a scissors lock on Riddler but ends up falling on the mat. Riddler swings at him and lands a couple of elbows. The two grapple towards the cage with Riddler getting the better end of it landing knees to the stomach of Simmler. Simmler seems completely out of it as Riddler launches a barrage of blows and kicks while all Simmler does is cover up.Riddler then goes down with Simmler landing elbows to the head. Riddler grabs Simmler's left knee and drops him to the mat. The two grapple on the mat with Simmler being the one down. Riddler lands a series of blows to the stomach and face of Simmler. Simmler tries to kick Riddler away as the horn sounds.

Round 2 begins with Riddler knocking Simmler with a devastating right hook. Simmler hits the ground and Riddler is on top landing even more strikes. The ref stops the fight with the obvious winner Matthew Riddler. Rampage Jackson says he's never seen such a knock out.Forrest talks about the knock out and points out how Simmler was trying to land a kick which left himself for the right hook. Forrest says Matt has great finishing instinct.In the locker room Dan asks people where he is and what happened.

The next fight Luke Zachrich vs. Patrick Schultz. Luke says his Jiu-Jitsu is solid and feels comfortable in his feet. Luke is fighting in the red trucks as Round 1 starts with Luke trying a right kick. He misses badly and Patrick lands hard right to the face of Luke.It looks like an easy win but Luke like Simmler kicks his way out. The two push each other to the cage and then Luke comes down on Patrick. Luke gives back Patrick a taste of his hard fists. Patrick withstands the hits and turns positions with Luke.The two stand up trying to overpower each to the mat. Luke gets the better end of it landing on Patrick.Luke is able to deliver shots to the body and face while holding Patrick's head with his left arm. Luke keeps on giving the punishment. Patrick does manage to turn himself around but unfortunately this gives Luke the opening for a rear naked choke. Patrick is unable to power out of this and submits to the winner Luke Zachrich. Next is Tim Credeur vs. Erik Charles.

Tim is fighting in the red trunks Erik calls himself the fastest guy in the competition. Tim goes for the take down but is unable to do it. The two guys fight toward the cage. On the second try Tim does get Erik down. The two grapple on the mat for the next minute. Tim then gets the opening for an arm submission. Erik tries to fight back but gives in. Tim is the winner. Dana tells both Forrest and Rampage that there are no teams and they are free to give any input to the fighters.

The next fight is Brandon Sene vs. Aaron Meisner. This fight is edited the winner is Brandon by rear naked choke. The next fight Mike Marrella vs. Gerald Harris in another edited fight. We see Gerald dominating the fight and eventually winning.

The next is Daniel Cramer vs. Jeremiah Riggs in another edited fight.The winner is Daniel Cramer. Forrest and Rampage joke around how sloppy the fight is.The next fight is Nick Rossborough vs. Jesse Taylor who are both middleweights. This fight is complete. Jesse is in the black trunks. Jesse gets the advantage early on tangling up Nick and landing strikes. Dana White calls Nick Slim Shady and that he can't wrestle. Nick is able to stand up but Jesse takes him back down. Rampage comments on that and says that he has no take down defense. Nick has no offense nor defense whatsoever. Jesse lands a rear naked choke for the win. Despite the convincing victory Rampage calls Jesse a "one trick pony". However, Griffin is impressed with Taylor.

The next fight is Josh Hall vs. Matt Brown Matt is in the black trunks. Josh tries to pick up Matt but he is too big so Josh pushes him toward the cage.The two grapple on the cage Then Josh strikes Matt down with a couple of uppercuts. Matt survives by giving a kick to Josh's stomach. Matt lands a couple of strikes while Josh throws a kick.Josh manages to just throw Matt down. Josh is able to land in a couple of shots to Matt's body. Matt tries to grab Josh's arm but Josh is strong. Josh continues his barrage of strikes. Matt tries to tire down Josh by putting his legs around Josh's head and squeeze. Josh counters by picking up Matt and slamming him to the ground. He does this several more times. The slams though appear to take more out of Josh than Matt as Matt gets Josh in an arm submission. The last twenty-two seconds witness an incredible turn. Matt continues to go for the arm. Josh lets go of his offense which enables Matt to rain down blows as Josh attempts to break the hold. Matt has now dominated Josh. Josh doesn't even attempt to cover up from the strikes. The ref breaks the fight for winner Matt Brown by technical knock out.
