I enjoy watching the unit, especially for the relationship that Hector and Charles share. The "5 Brothers" episode was intense, dynamic, and emotional. The writers and producers are brilliant and innovative with this show. The characters are superb.
"5 Brothers" - I loved this episode because I was emotionally engaged the entire show. Hector gave a superior performance. I don't understand why he had to die. The writers should have done something other than kill off one of the actors (Demore Barnes). A suggestion would have been that one of them go missing in action for months. I'm going to miss Hector's character. He is young, sexy, and attractive - I thought so. I hope it was Demore Barnes idea to leave the show and not the writers/producers. If not, this was a terrible decision to have made. The Unit appeals to all audiences and it represents diversity. I was ill when Charles got shot but I wept after Hector was killed. Hector's personality and character will be hard to replace because Demore Barnes possessed agility, genuineness, and passion that made him "right" for the role. I don't want to see "old" talent, I prefer "new" talent such as Demore Barnes and Michael Irby.
