On the night of March 2, 1932, Eliot Ness and Lee Hobson enter the Club Tunisian which is owned by racketeer Pete Kalik. They aren't there to see curvaceous singer Mavis Carroll either although the sight of the lovely Mavis is a fringe benefit. They're there because of an anonymous tip. Hobson is weary. This is one of the few episodes in which a subordinate Untouchable plays a prominent role in the storyline.
In this episode it appears for all intents and purposes that Agent Hobson is a bachelor but later in the series in The Night They Shot Santa Claus it's mentioned that he has a wife named Mary.
Ness: You start your leave on Friday. What are you gonna do?
Eddie: (to Ness and Hobson) Did somebody pay you to louse me up? Are you working for the competition?
Ness: What do you want?
Eddie: Kalik. I want him dead. I'll settle for twenty to life.
Ness: Be careful.
Eddie: LIke a high school girl on her first date.
Ness: What happened? Did Kalik move Eddie out?
Mavis: You tell me, Mr. Ness. You know everything.
