Episode Notes
This episode and its companion episode, Search for a Dead Man, served as pilots for a proposed spin-off series starring Barbara Stanwyck which never came about. The series was to have been called The Seekers.
This marks the only episode of the early Season Four entries where Frank Nitti's name was mentioned until he re-emerged in The Speculator.
This episode had to have been a bit shocking when it first aired with the revelation that Margaret Radick had given birth to an illegitimate child and the strong hint that she had been abused by her foster parents.
Hobson is the only supporting Untouchables who appears in this episode. Rico, Youngfellow, and Rossman have gone fishing.
Peggy Ann Garner would return in Giant Killer.
Locations: Chicago, Evanston IL

Analysis
This is the first of two episodes featuring Barbara Stanwyck as Lt. Agatha Stewart of the Missing Persons Bureau. Though it's talky and there's not much action, it does contain a couple of powerful scenes. I defy anyone not to shed a tear during the scene in the hospital where Charlie Radick and his daughter are reunited.
