| Unlike the first two seasons, which took a few episodes to get rolling, Season Three opened with a triple sledge hammer: The Troubleshooter, Power Play, and Tunnel of Horros. All three are classic episodes. Fine episodes such as Loophole, Man Killer, and Jigsaw soon followed. Things slowed down a bit with the terribly mediocre City Without a Name but picked up again in mid-season with the likes of The Stryker Brothers and Element of Danger. All in all, you have to rate Season Three as the show's best. There isn't really a clunker episode in the entire lot even though there are some mediocre ones such as the aforementioned City, Man in the Middle, The Genna Brothers, and Arsenal.
In this season the cast from Season Two was retained and would continue into the following one but there is one thing that should be mentioned. Abel Fernandez and Steve London began alternating with one another from one episode to the next after the first nine episodes or so. From then on we would only rarely see Agents Youngfellow and Rossman together in the same episode. | |
