Recap

This episode opens with Elena waking up suddenly. She calls out but no one is there. She finds just the TV on. The news is reporting her death. Damon appears and bites her neck. Stefan wakes up from his nightmare. Damon, who is sitting at the foot of the bed, makes a snide comment. He says it was easy to get into Stefan's head. Stefan flings a knife at him. It lodges in Damon's chest. Damon informs him that a mountain lion has been caught and blamed for all the animal attacks. He returns the knife to Stefan by stabbing him in return. Stefan listens to the news where they discuss the mountain lion. He writes in his diary about Damon. ..
