You're Undead to Me - Recap

As of last week, Damon was poisoned by vervain that was put into Caroline's blood. Stefan continues to inject it into Damon's blood and he has even taken off the ring that is used to protect the vampires from the sun and other dangers. Stefan thinks that he has it all figured out, too. He plans on punishing Damon by letting him dry out and he ends up being literally a living corpse. That is when he is put down in the dungeon for fifty years so that he can think about what he has been doing. After fifty years, Stefan will check in with him to see if he has become a changed man at all.

Elena wakes up to find Vicki in the bathroom wearing one of Jeremy's shirts. Elena has a bit of a sour face on but she doesn't really do much about it right then and Vicki goes to return to the arms of her drug dealer. When Elena goes to rat out her brother Jenna knows already. She doesn't really care that he had Vicki over because she is more concerned with what she is up to. She is preparing to go on a date with Logan. He has her going on a date with him so that he can acquire the pocket watch that Elena was supposed to hand to the mayor's wife.

Elena tells Jenna about the fact that she hasn't seen Stefan for three days. Caroline is elsewhere talking to Bonnie about what happened with Damon. Caroline still holds the memory that Damon did attack her and she does remember being a bit angry but that is really all she does remember. She ends up setting up a car wash.

Stefan decides that he should go talk to Elena and say sorry for going MIA. He had to deal with Damon and they should be okay for right now. He wants to meet up with her at the girl after school. While waiting for Stefan Elena takes notice that her ex boyfriend is playing pool and decides to play a game with him while she waits. She tells him that she ran into Vicki in her bathroom and then complains about Stefan. He tells her he thinks that he is a nice guy.

Stefan has left Zach in charge and he goes to check in on Damon. This wasn't a good idea. Zach says that he has been ingesting the poisonous herb for almost twenty years and if he bit him something bad would really hit. He gets a little closer and Damon grabs him by the throat and starts to squeeze. Stefan is there still however because he saves his "uncle".

Afterwards, Stefan books it to the date with Elena because now he is officially an hour late. Elena loses her mind on Stefan for not at least letting her know that he was going to be late. She doesn't like how he is oh so mysterious, either. Stefan has been recognized by a really old man that says that he hasn't aged a day. Stefan says that he has to be mistaken.

Logan is talking to Caroline's mother at the police station. He asks her how the hunt for the vampires is going and it seems that they are having a hard time finding that and the watch, too. Logan wants to look through the Gilbert's home and Sheriff Caroline's mom says that he should probably talk to Jeremy or at least look around his room for it since it is handed down man to man through out the family.

Jeremy goes to see how Elena is doing and says that she should get something to eat. She is in bed being miserable and she decides to go downstairs anyway. There he is...Stefan...making her favorite meal chicken parm. He says that he is Italian and knows how to make his own cheese. Stefan decides to tell her about Katherine, too.

It seems that Vicki is doing the drugs again as she found Elena's pain killers from the accident. Jeremy thinks that they shouldn't have to be on drugs to have a good time together and she practically scoffs. Jeremy eventually lets go of that. Stefan is telling Elena everything about him. He loves John Grisham, Seinfeld, and Taxi Driver. Elena cuts herself and Stefan shows his vampire face so he turns his back to her.

Damon is sick and dirty in the cell and has decided to call to Caroline. Caroline hears it and doesn't get it. He sent other hints and she still doesn't get it. Eventually...the next day...she tracks him down and she finds him. He asks that she help get him out and she doesn't really want to. She opens up the bolt and then books it. She runs out of the house and Damon is chasing her, but has to stop because it is still day light and he doesn't have his ring.

Elena is taking all the hints that Stefan may be a vampire and is trying to figure it all out and how she feels about it. Zach ends up dead so that Damon could get out of his trap.
