omg, i cant wait for this to air! i love the books. hahah! but im a bit disapointed. they didnt really mach the characters that well.....i mean for one thing Elena is supose to have blond hair. and bonnie is suppose to have red hair. idk, some things are just different. i guess thats gonna happen. oh well....hahah. i cant wait tho! hahah!

All I know is that the show has Nina Dobrev and is capitalizing off the Twilight/True Blood vampire craze, by creating a series based off a book.

I'd love to have a show made here that I'd have motivation to actually watch. They got done like back in April or May here shooting the Halloween II remake Rob Zombie. Very odd me going through our town square in March seeing a pumpkin scene in town and one of our old stores all halloweened up.

Then here comes Vampire Diaries shooting in July. I haven't seen anything yet I guess they do most of it at night or something

You should've sneaked on set and been an extra! Then you could laugh at how bad the show is, while seeing yourself in the background.

all vampire shows mean almost nothing to me after Buffy and Angel they were the best of the best, and the movie Twilight and this show is I'm sure partially based on the love connection Buffy and angel had.

You might enjoy this then, Seb. Buffy > Edward.

hey theres an article in sunday's paper about it and the pic has Stefan, Damon and Elena on it.. one problem i have RIGHT NOW i the fact that t the girl playing Elena isnt blond. thats a very important plot devise is the fact that she has blond hair and blue eyes (lapus lazuli) which makeshe look EXACTYLY like the girl from Stefan and Damon's past
