Cultural References
The title of this episode, "Hate Floats", may or may not be a spoof on the movie staring Sandra Bullock, "Hope Floats"

In number 21's room in his closet we see the following:
  • A Helmet that resembles that on which "Magneto" of the XMen wears.
  • A "Lord of the Rings" special collectible limited edition replica Sword
  • A shield that resembles that of which "Captain America" uses.
  • Some Magic: The Gathering cards
  • A "Spider-man" T-shirt
  • A Poser and gloves that barely look like "Wolverine" of the "XMen"
  • A Belt that which resembles that of what Batman wares.
  • A pair of collectible talking "Hulk" hands

When exiting the ventilation shaft while number 24 is helping number 21 out of the shaft. 24 calls 21 "double-stuff".
On Jason Smiths roles as "Silent Bob" with Jay, Jay usually calls Silent Bob "double-stuff" as a nickname. Which we saw on the episode "Powerless in the Face of Death", Number 24 calls number 21 that he looks like "Jason Smith".
