Hate Floats - Recap
The Monarch contacts his former henchmen and tries to get them to reunite all of his former henchmen and re erect his cocoon layer, but he is told that they all but two of his henchmen have joined another super villain’s minion crew. That leaves henchmen’s number 21 and 24 to find new henchmen to work for the Monarch.
Doctor Venture and Brock wake up Dean and Hank to celebrate their 15th and/or 16th birthdays.
Henchmen numbers 21 and 24 go to a gheto alley and tries to con some street folk into signing up to become henchmen for the Monarch, numbers 21 and 24 succeed and bring them to the Monarch flying cocoon layer, which they fixed. The Monarch feels pleased and amazed with what numbers 21 and 24 did; this soon starts to fade while not knowing what kind of people their dealing with.
Doctor Venture takes Dean to the mall to buy a jumpsuit, which Dr. Venture calls a “speed suit”, for his 16th birthday. Dr. Venture is pressuring dean to fill in his shoes to become the 3rd generation of scientists in his family. Dean does not like the suit, or the way his father is treating him.
The Monarch, his newly formed henchmen crew, and numbers 21 and 24, go in search for Dr. Girlfriend and try to bring her back. They see Dr. Girlfriend walking into the mall with the Phantom Limb at side. They end up in the mall were Dr. Venture, Brock and the boys are already.
The Monarch finds Dr. Girlfriend tries his best to persuade her to come back; he is interrupted by his henchmen who are contacting him via speakerphone in his ear. Number 24 tells him that they spotted Dr. Venture is around the mall. While trying to handle both issues at the same time, the Monarch inevitably makes things worse for his situation with Dr. Girlfriend. The Phantom Limb arrives and is looking like he is mad at the Monarch, the Monarch tries to get away, he first shoots Dr. Girlfriend with a tranquilizer dart, and then tries to do the same thing with the Phantom Limb but fails to do any damage to him, the Monarch the spreads his wings and flies off with Dr. Girlfriend.
Dr. Venture and Brock encounter the Monarchs henchmen and engages in fitting with them, during this fight, Dr. Venture looses an eye, and is kidnapped by the Monarch; while Brock get shot by a gun from a new henchmen that doesn’t fallow the rules.
Brock awakens in the Phantom Limbs layer, were the Phantom Limb tells him about the current situation about him and Dr. Girlfriend and how the Monarch “supposable” kidnapped hank Dean and Dr. Venture as well. Brock teams up with the Phantom Limb reluctantly, and goes in search of the Monarch.
The Monarch confronts his new henchmen about what just transquired in the mall, which he did not like at all, and threatens all the new recruits, they find it funny until the Monarch threatens to take their guns away to which the reacted in taking over the Monarch layer and putting him, numbers 21 and 24, and also Dr. Venture in a holding cell.
Dr. Girlfriend takes Hank and Dean to follow her to look for Phantom Limb, which she doesn’t know that he wasn’t taken by the Monarch; and wants Hank and Dean to tail along so that they can also reunite with their father. They take Brocks car and Hank must drive. Dean believes that Dr. Girlfriend might be his mother.
Number 21 devices a plan to get weapons and escape, he tells the Monarch that right above the holding cell were they are located is his room, were he secretly put up weapons in it. They go up the small ventilation duct to number 21’s room only to find that the so called “weapons” he was hording where in fact toy collectables of comic superhero made movies and stuff related to Lord of the Rings.
Meanwhile Brock gets his gun shot wound fixed by the Phantom Limbs inventions; they get ready to fight, Brock gets fit in with some weapons the Phantom Limb is providing and they talk about Dr. Girlfriend’s true sex, wither or not she really is a man or not, Brock is reluctant to believe she is a female, but the Phantom Limb really thinks she is.
They eventually go to and find the Monarchs fling cocoon and start to fight the Monarch’s rogue new henchmen.
Everything and everyone eventually find themselves and figure out what exactly happened. The Monarch charging off to fight to regain his cocoon back charges right into Brocks way and gets beaten by him. Brock joking around about Dr. Girlfriend’s sex again gets hit with a none lethal dart by the Phantom Limb
