Dean is shown shaving his face and getting ready to go out, while Hank gets dressed in a Batman costume, whom also appears to be going out. When Dean finishes getting ready, he immediately goes to Hank’s room to see how he was going along. To Dean’s surprise, Hank was wearing his Batman costume. Outraged, Dean calls for his father, Dr. Venture. When Dr. Venture arrives to Hank and Dean’s room he sees what going, and decides to call Brock. Dr. Venture rambles about he was supposed to put his best suit on and not his best costume. Brock walks in and starts to tease Hank that he can’t go with him. Brock gives Hank three minutes to change into his best outfit or he’s letting Dean ride his car and making Hank walk. Then Brock asks Dean, who has several shaving cuts on his head, what he did. Dean answer he shaved with the big razor with the big handle. Dr. Venture replies that’s his “daisy” that he uses to shave his “head”. Hank said he thought God made his hair bold. Dr. Venture tells Hank God does, but God also leaves the sides to grow.
We cut to Triana, who is also getting ready to go out, and Dr. Orpheus, who is worried about his daughter going out, discussing over Dr. Orpheus’ concerns. Dr. Orpheus tells Triana that this conversation is awkward for him but it is his duty as a parent to take care of her. Triana giggles at his father after he said the word “duty”, and they start to ramble about what Dr. Orpheus said. Dr. Orpheus then continues his concerns about his daughter going out and what people of her age crave to do. Triana tells her father she’s doing him a favor. Dr. Orpheus says he knows, but the only reason that he’s letting her go out is that Dr. Venture is giving him some leeway with the rent if he can take care of Dr. Venture’s sons for that night, because Dr. Venture wants some time alone with himself. Triana reassures his father that nothing will go bad because she’s only going on a date with “The Venture Brothers.”
After the opening credits, we are taken to the Phantom Limb’s lair were he is showing some art of his to a fat old man whom appear to be apart of an Italian Mafia organization. The Mafioso wants to buy art off of the Phantom Limb. The Phantom Limb shows the man a portrait, but the man doesn’t seem interested in that particular portrait. The man seems to want to have “The Mona Lisa”. Phantom Limb explains to the man that The Mona Lisa isn’t a better painting, but it’s only a more famous painting and that the only reason it was made famous was because it was stolen. He continues to argue with the man about why the Mona Lisa isn’t a good painting and tries to convince him that his first choice was better. Dr. Girlfriend then walks in the room and brings with her some wine chanties for the two men. She’s wearing her old scantly clad custom. The Mafioso man starts staring at her outfit then her chest, which makes Dr. Girlfriend uncomfortable. She then confronts The Phantom Limb about how she doesn’t believe this is arch villainy, and is rather unhappy about it to. The Phantom Limb tells her that not everyone like the Monarch has a trust found and that he has to make a living out of the business. He continues to say that he doesn’t want to go back to a life of inferior quality because he has plans for his future. Dr. Girlfriend accuses the Phantom Limb of being a book keeper because he doesn’t do anything other then sell stolen works of art. This generally makes the Phantom Limb mad and gives what Dr. Girlfriend wants. He attacks the Mafioso man with his invisible power hands and either kills him or knocks him out. After he attacks the man, he starts to get nervous and starts to whip the man’s blood off a priceless rug. While Dr. Girlfriend says that what the Phantom Limb did doesn’t prove anything, it only makes him a murderer. Dr. Girlfriend then finishes up her complaints and reminds the Phantom Limb that they have a dinner meeting with the Monarch at eight, and then she goes off (presumably) to her room to change.
We cut to the Monarch’s cocoon lair, inside the control room where we see his two loyal henchmen, numbers 21 and 24, making “human beat box” noises to a rhythm. The Monarch walks in and happily asks them to get the “monarch mobile” ready because he has plans for the night. Number 24 and 21 tell the Monarch that they don’t have a monarch mobile anymore, because they had to ditch it ever since the incident with the Venture brothers where the two died and all. The Monarch asks them what his options are. Number 24 replies to him and says that they could take his car, which is a Nissan Stanza. Reluctantly the Monarch goes with number 24’s Nissan Stanza because it’s the only option.
Back at the Venture compound, Doctor Venture happily explains to Brock why he wanted the boys away for the night, telling him that he found out that “Dolly Parton” made an erotic film called “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” and that it will be airing that night on a paid cable network. Brock tells Dr. Venture that he’s going to be disappointed by the film. Dr Venture doesn’t want Brock to ruin the film for him and asks him not to tell him about it because he has everything ready for the night. He invites Brock to join him but Brock has other plans of his own and also has to drive Dean and Hank to dinner where their meeting Triana and her friend Kim. Dr. Venture thinks it’s because it’s a bit awkward for two men to be seeing the same erotic film together, though it’s not the case here.
Later, we are shown in four different corners of the screen, the four parties that are heading to their designated places inside their cars:
On the first corner we see the Phantom Limb with Dr. Girlfriend,
On the second one we see Triana and her friend Kim,
On the third one we see the Monarch with his loyal henchman numbers 21 and 24,
And in the fourth one we see Dean, Hank and Brock.
Inside Triana car, Kim asks Triana if the Venture brothers are cute. Triana answer her by saying that Dean is kind of cute, because he dresses the way “Buddy Holly” use to. And Hank is blond and more athletic, he also dresses like “Fred” from “Scooby Doo” she tells Kim.
Inside The Monarch’s car (Actually number 24’s car) number 21 asks number 24 to put in his mix tape of “Chill’n with my Peeps and my Main Man the Monarch”. The Monarch interrupts him by asking if they can side track the ride so that the Monarch can pick up his date. 21 tells the Monarch he thought that Dr. Girlfriend was going to be their. The Monarch tells him that she is but with Phantom Limb. His plan is to make Dr. Girlfriend jealous and make her feel like she wants him back. Number 24 asks who she is, and so the Monarch tells him that he met her on the internet, specifically in “Livegernal.com”, and she called him "teh-heh sex".
Inside Brock’s car, Dean asks Brock for any advice, since this is their first date ever. Brock throws Dean’s corsage that Dean was holding out the window and tells them not to kiss her hand or pull out their chairs or anything like that, because they might consider it dorky. Brock hands Dean his wallet full of money and tells them not to let them pay for anything and if they decide to a movie after, to let him no in time. And above all, Brock asks them to be themselves for the night. Hank asks Brock if he has any advice for him regarding his “Mystery date”. Brock tells Hank not say anything like “score” or “mystery date” in front of them, and not to do any weird jokes like the “Do you want to see food” joke Hank constantly does.
Inside the Phantom Limb’s car, the Phantom limb says to Dr. Girlfriend that she’s been quite for the ride. Dr. Girlfriend stares at him without saying anything.
Later that night, Dean and Hank await Triana and Kim to arrive, while Hank gives some (Bad) advice to Dean. Dean doesn’t want to do anything that Hank is suggesting him to do. Dean then sees Triana and Kim walking in and Hank asks Dean to play it cool, Hank shows Dean how he politely check out his date by hiding his face while he fakes looking at his watch for the time. Hank then does as he just said and gets surprised at how his date looks like. He thinks she’s a supervillain because of her outfit and look. While Triana and Kim are walking to the table, Hank continues to tell Hank that she really looks like a supervillain.
Meanwhile, a few isles away, The Monarch tells his two henchmen to go sit somewhere else and to pretend they don’t know him. But number 21 tells him that they are all dressed like butterflies and that it would be difficult not to be noticed. When his two henchman leave, The Monarch tells his date, whose name appears to be “jollyrancher82”, never get henchmen. Jollyrancher82 tells the Monarch that that isn’t her real name. The Monarch rambles on and says that he uses his real name and that he had no idea that that isn’t her real name. Jollyrancher82 thought that his name was the Monarch because he is into “cosplay”, but the monarch tells her that he’s into costumed business, not costume play. Just then the Phantom limb arrives with Dr. Girlfriend. The Monarch hugs jollyrancher82, in the attempt to make Dr. Girlfriend jealous. Jollyrancher82 says to the Monarch that the girl who’s with the Phantom Limb is gorgeous. The Monarch rambles about the time he met Dr. Girlfriend and how she use to look like a girl from the band “Republica”. Jollyrancher82 says she’s heard somewhere that Dr. Girlfriend was kind of manly. The Monarch gets upset by her statement and changes the subject. So The Monarch starts to describe The Phantom Limb’s origins. The Monarch says that when the Phantom Limb was in college he was trying to fit in like any other person. The Phantom Limb made his roommate, who was in fact Master Billy Quizboy; create a machine that makes ones muscle building process grow. But something went terribly wrong and made the Phantom Limb’s limbs disappear and whatever he touches gets messed up.
Meanwhile Henchmen numbers 21 and 24 also talk about what the Phantom Limbs origin could have been. And so number 21 tells 24 that he heard that the Phantom Limb was actually a good guy at first, but when Master Billy Quizboy, whom which 21 rambles that Billy one money on “Card Sharks”, invented a time machine that sent the Phantom Limb’s limbs and Billy’s hand 40 years into the future.
Kim also spots the Phantom limb and says that the guy is only a torso. Hank tells her that that’s the Phantom Limb, one of his fathers arch nemesis. Hank also starts to tell her what he believes to be his origins. Hank starts off by saying to them that the Phantom Limb was once a magician and that one time, while he was performing a magic trick for the queen of England, he tried to make a rabbit disappear but instead made his limbs disappear and sent them all the way to the moon. Dean tells him that what Hank just said never happened. But Hank then tells them it did, and that he also heard that the Phantom Limb cut off his kid assistant’s hand and ate it. Hank then tries to make Dean remember that that kid he was talking about was actually the “big headed guy” that operated on his testicular problem a while back. Dean, embarrassed, asks Hank if he wanted to go to the bathroom. Hank unaware that his brother is embarrassed, says that he does. Hank excuses himself from the table and tells Triana and Kim that he will be escorting to Dean the bathroom.
Back at The Monarch’s booth, The Phantom Limb shows The Monarch a variety of different types of insurance that the Guild of Calamitous Intent offers. The Monarch tells the Phantom Limb that he only wants the one that lets him take down the Venture family. The Phantom Limb says something to offend the Monarch, so the Monarch calls him a “granny with glasses”, because of what the Phantom Limb is wearing. They further argue when the Phantom Limb states that he can take down the entire Venture family in less then an hour by only making one phone call. The Monarch dares him to do it, and so he does. The Phantom Limb calls his fellow guild operatives and gives the respective syndicate number to the operative (Victor. Echo. November. Niner.) The operative confirms the Phantom Limbs request and takes action. The Phantom Limb, after he calls his operative, tells the Monarch that within the hour the entire Venture family will be dead.
Back at the Venture Compound, Dr. Venture’s security system goes into immediate lockdown mode. Exactly like in the events that took place during “Home Insecurity”… steel plates slide down to cover the windows, alarms go off, etc. Dr. Venture complains about this situation happening again. Brock, while we hear him fighting someone, calls Dr. Venture and tells him to go to the panic room at once. Dr, Venture chooses to ignore him because he wants to get into his adult film and starts to complain that the film is slow to get to the “good parts”. Brock arrives naked, covered in blood holding a man’s severed head to the room where Dr. Venture is watching his adult film. Dr. Venture asks him why he’s naked. Brock answers him by saying that “To prey on their fear, move like an animal to feel the kill”. Dr. Venture feels slightly frightened by what Brock just said to him and asks Brock what’s going on. Brock doesn’t know exactly but he judges by what the men who are attacking the compound are wearing that the guild must be involved somehow and that maybe Dr. Venture might have done something to do with it, he could have made the guild mad somehow. Dr. Venture has no idea what he could have done or if that he even did something to make them mad. He furthers his innocence by stating that he’s only been sitting in the living room watching the “worst porno ever”. Dr. Venture gets a bit more startled when he realizes that the head Brock is holding is a real head. Suddenly the lights go off, but Dr. Venture tries to be optimistic of the situation and tells Brock to calm down, that the back up generators will go online in any moment. The back up generators appeared to go online for a moment then turned off almost instantly after. Dr. Venture finally realizes that the situation is far worse then he even imagined. Brock tells Dr. Venture to go to the panic room at once and that they might not make out of this situation. Dr. Venture was scared to the point that he couldn’t hold his bowels in. Brock then calls HELPeR on his communicator watch to escort Dr. Venture to the panic room and to go to his “tactical mode”. HELPeR is shown transforming into a heavy loaded gun machine.
We cut back to the restaurant where Dr. Girlfriend is more then upset at both the Monarch and The Phantom Limb for acting like children over her. During her upset moment, she tells the two men about her favorite moments of them fighting. She mentions that one moment in particular that she liked was when Jollyrancher82 went out crying. Dr. Girlfriend asks the Monarch how old she was. The monarch replied that he doesn’t know. (Editor’s Note: Taking a guess she was about 24 years old judging by her screen name.) Dr. Girlfriend decides to go to the bathroom, and she states that “she’s going to powder her nose, or whatever the cliché is”. The Monarch gets upset over Dr. Girlfriend leaving and blames it on the Phantom Limb, but the Phantom Limb sarcastically agrees with the Monarch.
Back inside the locked down Venture compound, a guild operative sneaks into a room wearing night goggles and a laser pointed gun. The operative gets thrown down as Brock jumps on him. Brock stabs the operative near his kidney area (not shown but mentioned) and taunts the man. Brock tells the man he’ll take the knife out or he’ll stab it further until he gets to the kidney. The operative tells Brock what the plan was which he states: “Black out, four and a robot”. Brock takes the knife out of his body, but the operative mumbles on that he thinks that Brock might have stabbed him in the kidney and that he doesn’t want to die alone. Brock tells him that he doesn’t think he stabbed the kidney; in fact he’s pretty sure that without medical attention he’d die within four hours. But the “dieing” guild operative asks him to sing him a song to confront him. Brock starts to sing him a song at the operative’s request.
Back in the restaurant again, The Monarch signs his reinstatement peppers and sarcastically says that there is no point in him joining again since the Phantom Limb destroyed the Venture family already. The Phantom Limb asks the Monarch if he still loves Dr. Girlfriend. The Monarch refuses to answer because he thinks its “way to high school” for him, or in other words embarrassing. The Phantom Limb tells the Monarch that he’s not letting her go and for his sake, he hopes the Monarch does still love her. The Phantom Limb gets up and starts to go to the bathroom. The Monarch replies to him while he’s walking out that he hopes the Phantom Limb doesn’t like Dr. Girlfriend.
Back at the Venture compound again, we are shown HELPeR’s head flashing its red light severed from his body on the ground. We are also shown Dr. Venture’s hand lying next to HELPeR’s head on the ground. We hear Brock’s voice calling for HELPeR, but gets discouraged when HELPeR doesn’t respond and decides to call Dr. Venture, but Dr. Venture doesn’t respond either. So Brock still tries to talk to Dr. Venture and tells him that he’s getting the boys and that he’ll be right back to the compound.
We are cut back to the restaurant inside the men’s rest room, where we see Hank and Dean both at stalls peeing. Dean complains that Hank ruined his chances with Triana after the way Hank acted. Hank tries to cheer Dean up and gives him advice. Meanwhile the Phantom Limb goes in the men’s room and sees the two Venture brothers talking to each other. The Phantom Limb tip tows to an empty stall to avoid confrontation. While Hank was rambling on about his advice to Dean, and also zipping his pants up, Dean notices Hank stained his pants and tells him that he had a leak. Hank doesn’t know why that keeps happening to him. Dean explains to Hank that he has to “dab it” before zipping up. And they continue to ramble on about it.
We are cut back to Brock in his car chasing his way to the restaurant, still naked and covered in blood. Dr. Venture communicates through the com system of the house to Brock. Brock tells Dr. Venture he’s going for the boys, and then Brock asks if Dr. Venture is ok. Dr. Venture answers him that he is not in fact ok. We are shown Dr. Venture sitting on the ground of the stocked storage room, which is in fact the panic room, blood on the floor with Christmas ornaments all over his body using them as medical bandages to cover up his wounds. He continues to explain that he did make it to the panic room, with the help of HELPeR whom kept the rest of the guild operatives distracted enough to ensure the Dr. would make it to the panic room ‘intact’. Dr. Venture suddenly threatens to fire Brock if he doesn’t come back at once to help him out. Brock tells him to hold on, but Dr. Venture tells him he’s fired in a clam voice.
Back at the restaurant, the Monarch sits alone on his table and complains about his saggy stake fries, he decides to get up and go to the bathroom.
Back inside the bathroom at the restaurant, Dean gives Hank advice what to do to hide the stain. He suggests adding more water to the stain so it appears he mealy accidentally spilled water on himself. Hank replies to Dean in a sarcastic manner. While there talking their communicator watches go off. Dean answers it and Brock informs the two of the situation, he says that he’s coming to get them. Dean thinks it’s because of what happened during the date. During the conversation Brock and Dean were having, Hank uses a hand drier, which is attached to the wall, to try and evaporate the stain on his pants. While Hank rambles about how the drier is feeling on his pants, the Monarch enters the bathroom and gets surprised to see the two boys their. He sneaks up into an empty stall and goes in it. Dean meanwhile tells Brock that the place is crawling with people who hate his father. Brock tells Dean to stay inside the bathroom and not to move, he’s coming to get them very soon.
We cut back inside the restaurant and see Monarch’s Henchmen, numbers 21 and 24, eating their food. 21 asks 24 where everyone has gone to, 24 is as surprised as 21. 21 figures that the Monarch is back inside the car and waiting for them and that he might get mad at them for not paying attention. 21 asks 24 to take care of the bill because he’s going to the bathroom. 24 doesn’t want to be their alone because he says he’ll look like an idiot, but 21 tells him that he just ate with someone dressed exactly like him. 24 replies that at least he looked like a popular idiot. They then walk together to the bathroom.
Back inside the bathroom, Dean fixes his tie, while Hank continues to use the hand drier to drier his stained wet pants and rambles on about how it feels good to use it at that specific part of his body. The Monarch’s two henchman arrive inside the bathroom, shocked as everyone else to see the two Venture brothers inside their alone. They tip toe inside another empty stall and stay their. When the two henchmen are inside the stall they say to one another that they are shocked to seem Hank and Dean their and that they got to warn and tell their boss about it. Number 21 doesn’t want to go out their and he has to use the bathroom too.
Back outside the stall area inside the bathroom, Hank continues his struggle for drying his pants and continues his ramblings about how it feels good. Hank unintentionally incinerates his crotch area of his pants during his continues ramblings on the subject. He tells Dean about it and Dean starts to hit his crotch area until the fire gets out.
Henchman 24 sneaks a peek on what the Venture brothers are doing and argue to number 21 that he can’t believe that it is very hard to kill them. But 21 is busy trying to empty his bowels with no luck. 24 thinks he hears the Phantom Limb talking and ties to listen to what he’s saying. We move along the stalls were the Phantom Limb is, and we see him communicating to his operatives. He tells them that the Venture brothers are at his location and that he’ll be taking them down. The operative relays the mission to he’s fellow operatives currently looking for their targets. Brock hears this message through the head of the operative he decapitated and continues to go to the restaurant.
Meanwhile at the lady’s bathroom, we see Dr. Girlfriend putting on some makeup while Triana and Kim stair at her. Kim asks Dr. Girlfriend if she could ask her a question. Dr. Girlfriends replies that she is supposed to be in their, the only thing is that she has a very deep voice (Assuming that that was the question Kim was going to ask). Kim asks her if she could ask her another question. Dr. Girlfriend says she can. Kim asks her what kind of lipstick she’s putting on. Dr. Girlfriend replies she’s wearing the shade called “Pink Poodle”. She rambles on saying that the guild gives a discount on these products and that Kim should know about this because Dr. Girlfriend assumes she’s also works for them. Kim doesn’t know what Dr. Girlfriend is taking about, but Dr. Girlfriend is sure she does work for the guild and asks her what position she works for. Kim tells her that she doesn’t have a guy. Dr. Girlfriend gives her a card and tells Kim that she’s likes Kim’s look, she also says she has had it with men and that the two of them might make a nice team. Kim assumes that Dr. Girlfriend was hitting on her, but Triana tells her to read the card. Kim reads it and finds out that Dr. Girlfriend is a supervillain. Kim also finds that to be cool and she intends on calling her back.
Meanwhile Brock drives strait into the bathroom and brakes in from a window. Dean utters the word “naked” to Brock because of his appearance. Brock makes the hand gesture to make them be quite while grabbing a knife with his teeth. Brock sneaks up inside the first stall which Henchmen numbers 21 and 24 are in. Brock grabs number 24 and threatens him to cooperate if not he slips his throat. 24 says that whatever happened they didn’t do it. Brock believes him and tells them to keep quite. Brock goes to the next stall where the Monarch is in. The Monarch states he had nothing to do with the situation and that it’s Phantom Limb’s fault. He continues to say that the Phantom Limb was trying to show off to Dr. Girlfriend. Brock tells him to stay out of his way for the time being. The Monarch tells him that the Phantom Limb is on the next stall. Brock heads over the next stall and finds the Phantom Limb and grabs him. The Phantom Limb tells Brock off. Brock asks him why he did it. The Phantom Limb faintly replies that he did it out of pure will. Brock doesn’t believe it and threatens to kill him. The Phantom Limb takes that threat and adds another one. He says that if Brock kills him now, the guild will kill him and anyone he knows. Brock understands that, and tells the Phantom Limb that if he ever comes between him and his family again he won’t hesitate to take action. The Phantom Limb states that it won’t happen again and rambles on about what men are capable of doing when they fear women leaving them. Brock asks for forgiveness. And then the Phantom Limb rambles on, on his recurring cliché speeches on how he and Brock aren’t so different. Brock doesn’t want to hear that again and so the Phantom Limb asks Brock if they should shake on it and leave as enemies. Brock and the Phantom Limb shake on it and have a little stair down. Brock wasn’t sure if the Phantom Limb was going to use his special powers to kill him or not. He mentions this to the Phantom Limb and he to didn’t know if he was going to use it on Brock or not.
Hank and Dean go back inside the restaurant. Hank’s covering his exposed burnt crotch so that Tirana and Kim don’t notice what happened. They sit down and Triana asks them what happened. Hank replies that they wouldn’t believe them if they told them. Triana then asks if they want to get a dessert. Dean says he does. Kim tells Hank and Dean that she’s going to be a supervillain. Hank tells her that he’s going to be Batman. After that Dean and Hank do their “Go Team Venture” thing. And Triana tells Kim that she warned her that they were weird. Kim tells Triana that she found her first arch-enemies.
After the end credits, we are shown Master Billy Quizboy repairing a mechanical hand while talking to Dr. Venture about how the "Dolly Parton" movie Dr. Venture was watching is actually a comedy. Billy tells Dr. Venture that his arm is good as new but tells him not to lift anything up for a while, because his arm might and will fall off if he does. Dr. Venture asks Billy what he’s doing to his mechanical hand. Billy answers that his hand gets kind of “buggy” when he uses it for delicate work. Dr. Venture asks him how he even got a mechanical hand. Billy answers (maybe sarcastically) that he doesn’t know.
