The episode starts of with two “Guild of Calamitous Intent” agents and their Sovereign greeting Dr. Orpheus via video recording. The two guild agent’s names are shown, and which are: Ward, a guild communications agent, and Watch a guild command dispatch agent. The two guild agents mention that Dr. Orpheus and his team have been approved for their very own “Guild certified” supervillain. A guild member then introduces their Sovereign, which is on a screen on the background and has a distorted face. The Sovereign, whom has a subtext indicating that he’s the “Guild Command Supreme Being”, starts to talk about that the guild’s history and continues to say that it has been around since 1910 and that they have done a great deal on matching supervillains and super heroes alike. The two guild agents and the Sovereign then start to talk about statistic and comparisons between their organization and their rivals. The two guild agents sarcastically talk about why Dr. Orpheus doesn’t just get his own supervillain. Then they show him clips of examples of what happens when a supervillain doesn’t have rules to follow, miss matched supervillains and awkward moments between superheroes and their arch nemesis, which include: A superhero is attacked while preying for his dinner with his family, while his arch nemesis counter part brakes into his house and starts fighting. The subtext on this clip is of “Discarded Treaties”. The next clip shows a built up superhero being attacked by a small supervillain who is kicking him and doing no damage at all. The subtext on this clip is “Improperly Matched Animosity”. The final clip shows us a superhero that has been captured and is being tortured by the supervillain. Then his supervillain starts to kiss him. The subtext on this clip is “Inappropriate Behavior”
Just as the supervillain kisses the superhero, Dr. Orpheus lowers the volume down and asks Tirana who delivered the video. Triana, who is inside another room, replies and tells his father that a man wearing a winter coat and wearing a pair of goggles. Triana continues to talk about and asks him if the movie was broken. Triana thinks his father was referring that the movie he was talking about was “Splash”, and she says she put it with his NetFlix list. Dr. Orpheus gets surprised that Triana ordered that movie and asks her why she did. Triana says she wanted to see that movie again. Just then Dr. Orpheus asks her to wait a moments and raises the volume back up.
When Dr. Orpheus turns the volume back up, one of the two guild agents then says that Dr. Orpheus’ screening will take place at the specified time. The screen then shows us that Dr. Orpheus screening will take place at his “Lair/Headquarters” at 2:00PM to 6:00PM today. And that his group must be at least two to four people. The guild agents then thank Dr. Orpheus for choosing the Guild of Calamitous Intent as his choice.
Dr. Orpheus starts to think that he doesn’t have a team or a Lair ready for the event, and then he realizes that the video mentions the screening will take place today, and so he becomes very upset and nervous over this news. Dr Orpheus then does a magic trick and vanishes.
After the opening credits, we are taken to Dr. Venture’s lab inside the Venture compound. We see the Venture family and Brock looking at a big robot like machine that has the resemblance of a long legged spider with an eyeball in the middle of it. Hank says it looks cool and asks his father what it is. Dr. Venture responds and tells him that it’s his “walking eye’. Dean asks his father what it does. Dr. Venture unwittingly says that it does walking eye stuff. Brock goes closer to it and observes that it has a camera in the eye. Dr. Venture writing down something tells Brock that it does come with a camera. Dean speculates that it shoots lasers. Dr. Venture wrights that down and tells him that it does. Hank then makes up a totally ridiculous speculation that a monkey pilots it. Dr. Venture erases what he wrote and gets angry at Hank for saying those dumb things. Brock then says that it could be good for stealth reconnaissance. Dr. Venture then writes that back down on his notepad. Dean asks once again to his father what it does. Dr. Venture response this time that it “has a camera”, “iris mounted lasers”, “monkey proof welding” and “silent stealth design for reconnaissance missions”. Hank then tells Dr. Venture that he got all that info from Dean, Brock and himself. Dr. Venture mumbles on and states that he didn’t.
Just then, an alarm goes off and some loud noises come from outside, they all head towards the window. Brock looks at his communicator watch and says that their has been a major breach in security on the main gates. Dr. Venture, being sarcastic as always, tells him that what Brock just said is a walking eye. Dr. Venture continues to act sarcastic and asks Brock if he’s going to do something about it or if Brock wants to play with his game of Tetris first. Brock was pressing bottoms on his comm. watch while Dr. Venture was talking. Brock tells Dr. Venture that he was opening the secondary gates. Dr. Venture then goes towards the window to see what’s going on. Dr. Venture says that it looks like Hell on Earth out their. Dean and Hank describe the oncoming troops outside the compound and notices several war transportation vehicles including two helicopters. Brock says that they are Guild wasps and tells Dr. Venture that he has to deal with them since they landed on his herb garden.
We are later shown a man fighting off vampires inside a subway station. The man then gets caught by one of these vampires and is taunted by the other more formidable vampires. This vampire calls the man that he just caught “Jefferson Twilight”. The man, Jefferson Twilight, tells this vampire a non serious thing about his close and that he recently took it to the laundry. The formidable vampire then rants about Jefferson Twilight’s method of dry-cleaning and that it’s been 200 years since they’ve seen each other. But just then Jefferson Twilight escapes from being held off by the other vampire and attacks this formidable vampire. The two of them struggle about, but then Jefferson Twilight has the upper hand and grabs the formidable vampire by his fangs. Jefferson Twilight tells the formidable vampire that what he’s about to do is going to cause much pain for the vampire. The vampire asks him not to take them out, but Jefferson Twilight rants about he needs them for his necklace. Just as Jefferson Twilight was going to pull the vampire’s fangs out the other vampire gets up and was about to attack him, but just then Dr. Orpheus shows up and attacks the other vampire by using some sort of zapping magic. Jefferson Twilight sees Dr. Orpheus and gives him a nod of approval. He then proceeds to take the fangs out of the vampire’s mouth and chops off the formable vampire’s head with his sword. Jefferson Twilight puts away his new teeth and smoke-like-ashes comes off of the vampire’s decapitated head and body.
Jefferson Twilight starts to say that he’s pleased that Dr. Orpheus helped him out and that it’s been 16 years since they’ve seen each other, but he’s curious to why Dr. Orpheus is even their. Dr. Orpheus tells him that the guild recently accepted his application for an arch-nemesis and he needs to reassemble his old superhero group once again. Just as Dr. Orpheus is explaining this to Jefferson Twilight, the minor vampire gets up again, but Dr. Orpheus re-zaps him with his magic. Jefferson Twilight continues his amazement over the guild’s recent approval. Jefferson Twilight then continues on by saying that Dr. Orpheus life changed during the years, that he had a child, got married and has a new life. Dr. Orpheus explains that his wife left him and his daughter, Triana, has a drivers license and that his current job, keeping the cosmos in balance (as a necromancer), isn’t fulfilling enough. Also, his peers don’t care much for him either. Jefferson Twilight tries to cheer Dr. Orpheus up by telling him that he has a secret identity and that is a great deal to be happy about. Jefferson Twilight continues to give an example so he compares Dr. Orpheus to Aquaman. But Dr. Orpheus corrects him and tells him that Aquaman does not have a secret identity. They both ramble about what they think about Aquaman. Meanwhile the minor vampire gets up again, but Dr. Orpheus again zaps him while still debating over Aquaman’s status. Dr. Orpheus tells Jefferson Twilight that everyone knows what Aquaman does. Just as they continue to ramble the minor vampire gets up again and Dr. Orpheus re-zaps it. Jefferson Twilight replies to him that he doesn’t know what Aquaman does and says that he thought he protects some “lame fake kingdom”. For the last time the minor Vampire gets up again and Dr. Orpheus gets upset over the vampire not dying. Jefferson Twilight tells him that he has to remove the head of the vampire and that he gets to keep its teeth.
We are then shown Monarch henchmen number 21, inside his room in the Monarchs floating cocoon lair, cutting a peace of paper with scissors. Monarch henchmen number 24 walks in the room and startles number 21. Number 21 looses control of what he was doing and rambles that he could have killed number 24 because of he has “cat like” reflexes. Number 24 tells him sarcastically that he was scared. Number 24 then asks number 21 what he’s doing. 21 tells him that he’s making fake supervillain “second class” worldwide arching licenses. 21 then hands 24 his card. Number 24 reads off the fake card and starts to realize the entire contents are exaggerated and very fake. Number 21 tries to be optimistic by telling 24 that no one reads the cards, but they only flashes them as proof. Number 24 tells 21 that he doesn’t think 21 would make a good arch nemesis on his own. 21 then tells him that he made one for him for that same reason, and continues to say to him that 24 can’t refuse the offer until he shows him something special. 24 starts to think about it and then realizes that he risks his life everyday and that his current job is bad as it is. 21 then starts to say that he thinks he can do “arching” better then the Monarch. 24 continues to argue that the Monarch can do a better job at arching then they could combine, he tries to persuade 21 that the Monarch is very ruthless and asks him if he even know how much so.
The scene cuts to the Monarch lying down on his bed talking to a woman that has the appearance of Dr. Girlfriend. The Monarch tells this woman that he doesn’t blame her for desiring him so much. The Monarch then tells her to say that phrase back to him. The woman starts off saying the phrase the Monarch just asked him to say back to him, and we see that she isn’t Dr. Girlfriend but a woman, prostitute, that is wearing a wig that resembles her. She repeats the phrase but the Monarch continuously asks her to say the phrase in a deeper voice. This goes on and on until the scene changes.
The scene then cuts back inside the Venture compound where guild agents are inside a hallway/conference room with Dr. Venture. A guild agent asks Dr. Venture if he shares the lair with Dr. Orpheus. Dr. Venture tells him that he vaguely does. Dr. Venture tells the agent that Dr. Orpheus rents out some rooms their. Another guild agent then talks to his college about how much he can’t believe that they’re actually inside Dr. Jonas Venture’s house, and inside the same conference room where a special guild treaty was signed. The other guild agent then tells Dr. Venture that he agrees with his colleague and tells him that his, Dr. Venture’s, father is a legend at the guild. The two guild agents then start to ramble about how much they liked the “real” Dr. Venture, and how it was him that got them interested in becoming part of the guild. Dr. Venture then asks the two guild agents to make sure no one gets inside his lab, because he says he has several inventions he doesn’t want to get ruined or stolen. The two guild agents then start to laugh at Dr. Venture, and while their still laughing at him they tell Dr. Venture that no one will be going inside his lab. Dr. Venture is un-amused by the response of the two guild agents and sarcastically tells them that he doesn’t know where Dr. Orpheus is and this whole situation might as well be “a prom queen crowning his king”. A guild agent then tells Dr. Venture that he hears that Dr. Orpheus is “astro projecting” himself and off looking for his former team members. Dr Venture., unimpressed that Dr. Orpheus decided to get a team instead of being a solo hero, starts to laugh about Dr. Orpheus’ decision. The two guild agents start indescribably call Dr. Venture jealous.
Later, we are taken inside an old monastery type of building, where a man that has appearance of an abet or monk is mixing different compounds and mixture inside his miniature lab. Dr. Orpheus then astro projects himself inside their and surprises the man, whom Dr. Orpheus calls “the Alchemist”. They both say their hellos and start to talk about old times. Meanwhile Jefferson Twilight knocks at the door and ask if he can come in, and continues to fuss that he doesn’t have superpowers or can astro project himself in their. Jefferson Twilight then says his hellos and rambles about how he knew that the Alchemist would still be sitting at his usual place looking for the philosopher’s stone. The Alchemist then tells Jefferson Twilight that the philosopher’s stone is just a metaphor for enlightenment, but he still does agree with what Jefferson Twilight because he is searching for enlightenment. He continues to say that he’s looking for enlightenment in the cure for AIDS. Dr. Orpheus thinks that’s that what the Alchemist is doing is a noble cause, and now he feels stupid for asking him to join the group again. Jefferson Twilight asks the Alchemist if his still gay. The Alchemist replies by saying that it was only a phase and that he grew out of it. But then the Alchemist takes it back what he says that. We are left unsure weather or not he is gay or not. Dr. Orpheus dramatically tells the Alchemist that he and Jefferson Twilight are thinking of reforming their group “The Order of the Triad” because they’ve been approved for an arch villain, and so Dr. Venture asks the Alchemist if he wants to rejoin it. The Alchemist thinks it’s great and so he agrees to rejoin. Dr. Orpheus asks him about his research and work. The Alchemist tells him that he needs publicity and that superheroism is the best way to get it. He continues to say that he also needs a good work out because he says he’s a bit fatter now. Jefferson Twilight agrees with the Alchemist on that and says that he to has grown a bit. The Alchemist rambles about that black is a slimming color, Jefferson Twilight misinterprets that and so the Alchemist struggles to explain himself. Dr. Orpheus recommends his two colleagues that they should change to “pink stripes” because he says that “it leads the eye down”
Inside Dean and Hank’s room, Dean is reading a book on his bead while Hank is bored and frustrated playing with his neckerchief, putting its ends inside his nose. Dr. Venture walks in the room and asks Hank if he could leave him and Dean alone for a while, because he needs to talk to him. Hank tells his father that he told him that they couldn’t leave their rooms. Dr. Venture then tells him to go to the bathroom. Hank still complains that their isn’t much to do in the bathroom and asks him what he can do. Dr. Venture tells him that he could wash his face because he knows Hank doesn’t want to look like “F Mary Abraham” or “Edward James Olmos”. Hank gets disturbed by the thought of him looking like one of these two known celebrities, and so he rushes in to the bathroom. When Hank leaves, Dr. Venture approaches Dean and tells him he needs to talk about a few things to him. Dean thinks he’s in trouble and says that whatever happened it was Hank’s fault. Dr. Venture tells him he’s not in trouble. Dr. Venture tells Dean about Dr. Orpheus asking him to take care of Triana for the evening, but Dr. Venture doesn’t want to and asks Dean to entertain her for the evening. Dean gets exited and nervous at the same time and asks Dr. Venture if he wants them to put on a show for her. Dean scrambles about and doesn’t know what to do. Dr. Venture grabs him and says he knew that Dean would react that way. Dr. Venture asks Dean to sit down and to let him explain what he came their to explain. Dr. Venture continues on and tries to discriminate the fact that he’s talking about the “birds and the bees” (sexual orientation). A brief montage appears and when it ends. Dr. Venture is shown talking about white snake and how it was lost to love. Dean doesn’t get a word of what his father was trying to tell him. Dr. Venture then sighs in relief and leaves the room.
We are taken back inside the Monarch’s cocoon, where Henchmen 21 and 24 are inside. Number 21 unveils a pair of jet packs he had hidden under a clothe sheet. Number 24 becomes happy at the appearance of these two jet packs and asks 21 if they are really jet packs or not. Number 21 confirms that they are indeed fully operation jet packs. 24 asks him where he got them. 21 replies to 24 by saying he got them from a veteran of war. 24 then asks him if he got them with all its supplies. 21 can’t believe how insecure 24 is letting him feel. Number 24 then angrily reminds 21 that forged documents and stole a pair jet packs and that he trusts him no less because of this. Number 21 tries to convince 24 to become a supervillain with him on their own, by stating that 24 would like nothing more then to fly in the air with these jet packs. 21 rambles about and continues to argue that if they where arch villains together it would be cool. 24 thinks its cool after hearing what 21 said, and asks him if 21 has any customs ready. 21 then says he managed to get very nice leather customs. 21 and 24 continue to ramble on about how they could get women and have relations with them while their flying in the air with their jet packs and their leather costumes.
Back inside the Monarch’s room, the Monarch wakes up/gets up after having relations with the prostitute. The Monarch then starts to say to the prostitute that he doesn’t want to see her and that her money is on the bed stand next to the bed, he continues to say he over paid her. The Prostitute, while smoking and putting on her close on, thanks the Monarch for his generosity, and continues to ask him for directions. The Monarch, dramatically, tells the prostitute some information about her incoming obstacles the Monarch has in store for her. The prostitute doesn’t understand what the Monarch is saying and asks him if he has a pen so she could write it down. The Monarch bluntly interrupts her and continues to agreeably ramble about that he is calling himself now “the Mighty Minotaur”. The Monarch then takes of his robes unveiling his nude back body and a big tattoo located on his back, which resembles that of a Minotaur. The prostitute unimpressed by the Monarch’s body or tattoo gives a snarl face at him. The Monarch continues his aggressive speech by saying that the cocoon has witnessed the prostitute’s sins, the cocoon seeks vengeance and will punish her for what she did. He also says the cocoon might reward her if she can escape. The Monarch continues this until the prostitute gets freaked out and starts to move slowly backwards, she then falls in a trap door. And the Monarch yells at her as she falls and asks her how much she wants to live.
The scene changes back to the Venture compound, where we see many supervillains wearing their costumes lining up to go inside and audition to be Dr. Orpheus’ group’s arch nemesis. We then see two villains walking along heading towards the Venture residence opening. One villain is a semi-invisible purple gas cloud shaped in the silhouette of a man and the other supervillain has an Australian accent and has the power of flames. The semi invisible supervillain starts to talk to the flame villain and introduces himself; he says he’s from a group called “the intangible fancy”. The flame supervillain tries to shake the invisible villains hand and tells him his name, which is “Torrid”. While Torrid tries to shake the invisible villain’s hand, he accident incinerates and evaporates the other villains hand. The semi-invisible villain then starts to talk about how he just noticed Torrid’s ability is flame power. He then starts to ramble about that there are many options to approach flame type villains. The semi-invisible villain then complains that he can’t even wear a costume anymore. Torrid asks him out of curiosity if he has gentiles. The semi-invisible villain then replies and says that he doesn’t even remember anymore. Torrid then incinerates his own head and becomes surprised by the semi-invisible villain’s response. Torrid shakes it off and changes the subject, he asks him if the building their heading towards is Dr. Venture’s lab. The semi-invisible villain tells him that it is. Torrid then asks the semi-invisible villain if he can save his place on the line, because he says he has something he must do and he then says it’s something “Torrid”.
Meanwhile, back inside the conference room, Dr. Orpheus, the Alchemist and Jefferson Twilight are sitting down on a table interviewing a candidate for their arch nemesis. The supervillain shown is a man wearing some sort of green scuba gear. Dr. Orpheus ends this villain’s interview and tells the villain that they’ll get back to him later. The villain then thanks them for their time and gets up The Alchemist asks the villain to wait and continues to ask him what exactly is he supposed to be and why he’s wearing a runner on his head. Jefferson Twilight calls that runner on his head dumb. The scuba gear wearing villain then walks away with a shameful appearance on his face.
Later, Hank is inside a room wearing some sort of gown like dress looking and applying something to his face in disgust. He then walks inside a bathroom, where we see Torrid sitting down in the toilet doing his business. Torrid complains that Hank didn’t knock the door before entering and accidentally inflames the toilet paper at his side. Torrid then becomes afraid of being discovered and rapidly gets up and vanishes himself before Hank even notices he was inside. Hank then smells the mess Torrid made and immediately calls Dean to come inside the bathroom.
We are later shown Henchmen numbers 21 and 24 outside in a field wearing their pair of jet packs with strange red costumes and also with strange helmets each. 24 complains to 21 about how he thought 21 was going to get leather costumes. 21 confirms that parts of the costume, the pads, are leather, and that it’s more of leather like then actual leather. Number 24 then asks 21 where he got these costumes from and why does his costume’s helmet have a head on it. Monarch henchmen number 21 mentions that he got the pair of costumes from the show “Double Dare”, and that he got it very cheap to. Number 24 then jokingly tells 21 that he would of felt more comfortable if the costume didn’t have stains in them. 21 then tells him that the stains are from a known nickelodeon prop slime called “gak”, and it’s due to the show’s physical challenges. 24 hurries 21 up and tells him he wants to use the jetpack he’s wearing. Number 24 turns on his jet pack and fly’s up into the air, he then starts to ramble that his shows caught on fire. Number 21 then tells 24 to wait up for him and so he turns on his jet pack. Number 21, struggling to lift off, he barely gets off the ground and tells 24 that his jetpack isn’t working.
The scene cuts back to The Alchemist, Jefferson Twilight and Dr. Orpheus still inside the conference room in the Venture compound. The Order of the Triad interview a villain that has the apearence of a lizard. Jefferson Twilight confirms to the villain that he only hunts blackulas. The lizard villain tries to understand that Jefferson Twilight only hunts “African American Vampires”. Jefferson Twilight tells this villain that he doesn’t because sometimes he hunts British vampires. He continues to say that their aren’t African American vampires in England. The villain finally understands and tells Jefferson Twilight so. Jefferson Twilight repeats that he only hunts blackulas one more time. The villain explains that he was trying to be sensitive to the matter. Jefferson Twilight gets a bit angry about the situation and tells everyone that he doesn’t know what the political correct name for what he does is. Dr. Orpheus changes the topic and asks the villain before he leaves if he is wearing a mask or if that’s his real face. The Alchemist interrupts Dr. Orpheus and tells him that he was just going to ask the same question to the villain.
Back inside Hank and Dean’s room, Brock and Dean are portraying some sort of play to entertain Triana, who is inside the room with them. Triana is reading a magazine and ignoring whatever Dean and Brock were doing. When Brock finishes reading his lines, Dean frustratingly calls in Hank. Hank tells Dean that he’s in the bathroom and asks him to go inside because it smells weird in their. Brock gets up and tells Dean that he has to go. Brock also tells Dean that he owes him for this play and asks Triana if she wants to join the play Triana says she doesn’t. Dean tells Brock as he’s leaves that he has other parts in the play. Hank tells Dean again to go inside the bathroom with him.
The Order of the Triad, still inside interviewing for their arch nemesis, interviews a villain that has the appearance of a dark wizard. Dr. Orpheus asks this villain what his name is because he has trouble understanding what this villain is saying. Dr. Orpheus thinks it’s between Chris or Curse. The villain tells him that his name is “Curse” and asks them if he can use magic because that’s his supervillain thing. The Order of the Triad all agree and tell him that he can. They all line up in a sounding attack position to test Curse’s attack ability’s. Jefferson Twilight tells the team to give Curse the “roshambo” attack. The Alchemist doesn’t understand what Jefferson Twilight was referring to and asks him if he meant “rock paper scissors”. Dr. Orpheus doesn’t understand Jefferson Twilights statement either, he asks him what a general from the American Revolution has to do with what their about to do. Jefferson Twilights tells Dr. Orpheus that he thought the term “roshambo” was French. Dr. Orpheus tries to explain what happened in the American Revolution, but Jefferson Twilight and the Alchemist don’t quit get what he’s trying to explain. Then, Curse interrupts them by attacking the group while they were distracted. Dr. Orpheus uses his special abilities to shrink Curse’s feet. The Alchemist uses his magic to make Curse’s hands and staff to disappear. And Jefferson Twilight uses his swords to intimidate and cut Curse’s head, but he doesn’t cut it off because Curse pleads for mercy. The Alchemist calls what they just did great, and asks Jefferson Twilight if what they did was “roshambo”. Jefferson Twilight tells him that it isn’t. Dr. Orpheus thinks that it should be.
Back inside the Monarch’s cocoon lair we see the prostitute running for her life, she gets to a hallway where she sees a set of 3 doors. The Monarch mocks her and tells her intimidating stuff. The Monarch tells her that one of the doors she must choose has her salvation while the others have her demise. She opens the wrong door and a polar bear come out of it. The prostitute falls down and becomes even more frightened then she already was
Inside Dr. Venture’s lab, we see Brock mounting Dr. Venture’s walking eye to a hook. Brock tells Dr. Venture that it isn’t a good idea to show off his invention to the villains outside. Dr. Venture sarcastically tells Brock that Brock told him that no one really cares about his latest invention. Brock tells him that he didn’t mean to take it outside and show it off to dangerous villains. Brock then turns the switch to lift the walking eye and pulls it off. While the walking eye is being pulled Dr. Venture asks Brock why he’s wearing a tuxedo suit. Brock tells him that he was helping Hank and Dean entertain Triana by portraying a play. Brock continues to say that Dean told him that it was Dr. Venture’s idea. Dr. Venture tells Brock that he was trying to tech Dean about the birds and the bees. Brock asks Dr. Venture how it went. Dr. Venture tells him that Dean did some sort of act from the play he was doing to do for her.
Dean and Hank are inside their bathroom; Dean asks Hank if he’s the one responsible for the retched smell that is being omitting in the bathroom, he also tells Hank that he should go to a doctor because of the this smell. Hank tells Dean to stop his insinuations and tells him that they have a mystery to solve. Dean still thinks it was Hank who made the smell. Hank tells him that if it where him he would be proud of it. Triana then yells at them from the other room and tells them that they’ve been in the bathroom for around an hour. Triana then walks in the bathroom and asks them what they’re doing in their. Triana then covers her mouth and asks Hank if he’s the one who made the horrible smell. Dean insists on calling Brock, but Hank tells Dean that every time something strange happens they always call Brock. Hank continues to say that they have to solve this mystery.
Back outside the Venture compound, the line filled with supervillains sees Dr. Venture tinkering around with his walking eye. Dr. Venture, holding a hose, yells out to Brock thanking him for taking the walking eye outside for him. Dr. Venture starts to yell out at seemingly no one, but his intentions were to gain every villain out their attention. Dr. Venture then sprays water with hose to the walking eye. The supervillains notice him doing so and seemingly become aroused for the notion of a man genius cleaning a weapon of mass destruction.
Back inside the bathroom where Triana, Dean and Hank are in, Triana tells Hank to retrace his steps. Dean agrees with Triana’s suggestion and calls her good at detective work. Hank then goes back to where he originally was when it happened. Hank tells them he was standing where he is now and that he thinks someone was on the toilet. Triana goes to sit on the toilet. Hank then tells them he walked in the door and he says he saw someone vanish. He does this again and Triana suddenly vanishes from the toilet. Before she vanished, Triana shouts out something. As Hank sees what just happened, Hank shocked tells Dean that he just killed his girlfriend. Dean asks him if she was really his girlfriend. Hank says she might as well of been, but before he killed her. Dean becomes depressed over that notion.
We are then taken back inside the Monarch cocoon lair and we see the prostitute dragging herself along the floor trying to dodge blades that are moving in a zigzag formation from the fall, which are barely touching the ground. The prostitute is very afraid for her life as she does this. The Monarch rants on about this to her as he baths inside another room. The Monarch explains that every time the blades swings, they fall down and causing some reaction inside his bath.
Again, inside the conference room in the Venture compound, The Order of the Triad continues their interviews with possible arch nemesis candidates. Jefferson twilight gleams to look at the pair of legs of the female villain as he does this, he mumbles out something about her appearance. Dr. Orpheus says out load while he’s reading her documentation or resume that she has a team of three and an impressive resume. Dr. Orpheus then says she seems to be the perfect candidate but she also looks familiar. Dr. Orpheus asks the female supervillain her name. She replies with a deep voice and says her name is “Lady Au Pare”. It was unclear during the episode if she really was or wasn’t Dr. Girlfriend. But she clearly had a major resemblance to her in all aspects. Lady Au Pare is dressed in an old English style dress, accompanied with two dwarf men wearing same style clothing. Lady Au Pare introduces these dwarfs and calls them “moppets”. She then says to Dr. Orpheus that he doesn’t know her. Jefferson Twilight tells her that she has a very deep voice and asks her if she smokes or eats packets of cigarettes daily. Lady Au Pare gets up frustrated and decides that this interview for her was a bad idea. As she leaves, Lady Au Pare asks if anyone if they want a moppet
Meanwhile, Dean and Hank are still inside the bathroom struggle to think up a plane to get Triana back. Dean tells Hank that they have to get Dr. Orpheus to help them out. After he says this, Dean takes of his dress he was wearing. Hank, still obsessed with his facial problems, tells Dean that telling Dr. Orpheus is a bad idea and that they have to solve the mystery of Triana’s sudden disappearance on their own. Dean agrees with Hank and asks him to list the clues they already have. Hank tells Dean this list and goes as follows:
1. Goth chick catches fire and disappears.
2. No smoldering body beating "kill me, kill me" in Morse code with what is left of her head.
3. The smell of a dumpster full of burning diapers.
Dean stops Hank from saying the last clue and asks him if he can run the shower with only the hot water on, it seems he has an idea. As Hank reaches inside the bath, we see Torrid in the bath hiding. As Hank releases the hot water, the water touches Torrid and makes him disappear again. Steam comes off the bath revealing a secret message on the mirror. Dean tells Hank he expected this. Hank calls his brother a genius and thinks its Triana’s handwriting. Dean asks him how he knows that. Hank says its because the way girls dot their “I’s”. Hank then starts to read the message which says: “I am in the Torrid Zone, please call my father”. Hank miss reads it and interprets father for “feather”. Hank then says that they have to go look for Triana’s feather.
Later, Monarch Henchmen number 24 shouts out for number 21 who is now using both jetpacks and hovering outside. 24 tells 21 to quit using the jet packs and that they’ll just get a bus to transport themselves. 21 doesn’t agree with what 24 said and tells him that they should call themselves “Jet Boy and Jet Girl”. 24 tells 21 that for the last time he doesn’t want to call their group to be called Jet Boy and Jet Girl, and that he doesn’t care if he’s Jet Boy. 21 tries to convince him that it would be a good idea because of a song with the same title as that. 24 still doesn’t like the names and rants about that the band who sings this song would be a better name.
Back inside the conference room in the Venture compound, Dr. Orpheus asks the next supervillain if he would like to sit down. The villain as it turns out is none other then Torrid and he says that he prefers to stand up; he insists so because he feels that sitting down is for the weak and feeble. Jefferson Twilight says he like this supervillain because he’s secure. The Alchemist also likes this villain and tries to act like him for the moment. The Alchemist was intimidated by what Torrid just said. Dr. Orpheus asks him what kind of menacing works could this villain offer his superhero group. Torrid bluntly reveals that he kidnapped Dr. Orpheus’ daughter. The Alchemist and Jefferson Twilight both agree that what Torrid did was impressive, but Dr. Orpheus becomes very upset and overwhelmed with anger towards this and starts to attack Torrid. The Alchemist and Jefferson Twilight then confirm that they found their new arch nemesis, Torrid.
The scene then changes to where Dr. Venture is eating a sandwich, apparently his kitchen. Dr. Venture sitting down eating his sandwich glares outside the window and sees his walking eye battling the remaining villains who where waiting for their interviews. Dr. Venture is happy because he took back some popularity amongst villains that he says Dr. Orpheus took from him, because of resent events involving Dr. Orpheus and the guild. Dr. Venture asks Brock if he wants a sandwich after he talks about what going on. Brock declines the offer and asks Dr. Venture if he wants him to rescue the walking eye or not. Dr. Venture doesn’t really care about it, because guild security is handling the situation. Dr. Venture is also optimistic of the situation and says that even though his walking eye didn’t work right, this fight between the villains and his invention will bring in more costumers and make his job better. Brock excuses himself because he wants to get some of the action that awaits him outside. Before Brock leaves, Dr. Venture asks him if he wants to change his cloths first, because Brock was wearing a suite and tie kind of outfit. Brock tells him he likes the suit because it makes him look like James Bond.
Just as Brock exits, Hank, Dean, the Alchemist, Jefferson Twilight and Dr. Orpheus walk in the kitchen. Dr. Venture asks them who they picked to be their arch nemesis. Dr. Orpheus tells him they picked a villain with the powers of fire named Torrid. Jefferson Twilight, while Dean is sitting on his shoulders, explains to Dr. Venture that Torrid kidnapped Triana and took her to a place called the Torrid Zone. Dean says he solved the mystery of where she went. Dr. Orpheus agrees with Dean and explains that the Torrid Zone is a place located in-between the Topic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn, and that he owns an island their near the Great Barrier Reef, which is located on the Torrid Zone. Dean confirms that Triana is safe and sound on Dr. Orpheus’ island. Dean, while sitting on the back of Jefferson Twilight, continues on and says that she’s soaking herself on the sun wearing a bikini etc. Jefferson Twilight becomes uncomfortable after feeling that Dean was doing strange stuff on his back. Jefferson Twilight then puts Dean down. After Jefferson Twilight puts Dean down, the Alchemist tells Dr. Venture that he’s proud of Dr. Venture for accepting Hank for what he really is. Hank was still wearing his gown; he hasn’t taken it off yet and so the Alchemist thinks Hank is gay. Dr. Orpheus asks the remaining Triad group members to show Dr. Venture their salute. The Alchemist, Jefferson Twilight and Dr. Orpheus do their salute and Dr. Venture asks them to leave his kitchen.
After the ending credits, we see Monarch Henchmen number 24 and 21 near a road. Number 24 is wearing his old butterfly costume again and is approaching a car that stopped to pick them up. 21 tells 24 that they can still become supervillains on their own, and tells number 24 he can be Jet boy if he wants. 24 tells him that he’s not interested, not even if gets to be Jet Boy. As he’s going towards the car, 24 asks 21 if he’s coming along. The person in the car is non other the prostitute that was inside the Monarch’s cocoon lair. As she sees that it’s a man wearing a butterfly costume, she freaks out and leaves instantly with the car, pushing number 24 down to the floor. 24 says that he cant believe that the prostitute stole his car, and number 21 says he cant believe that the prostitute escaped the acid lake alive.
