Dr. Venture: It’ll be fine. It’s not built for speed, it’s build for deep penetration.
Brock: All right, that’s it. you promised no penetration jokes. | Dr. Orpheus: And you’re certain they haven’t simply… stepped out? They have been known to engage in impromptu derring-do from time to time.

Dr. Orpheus: My apologies, old friend. But the Order of the Triad is in ne… what are you doing in… is this London?
Jefferson Twilight: Hey, man, I got to go where the blacktion is. | Jefferson Twilight: Two, you don’t order me to do anything, you’re not my mama, she was taken by marauding blaculas when I was ten. | The Alchemist: Well, I don’t detect any astral rifts, temporal anomalies, or ectoplasmic residue.
Jefferson Twilight: And they haven’t been taken by blaculas, although I’m not prepared to rule out Caucasian vampires. | Dr. Orpheus: The boys have very… active imaginations. They’re given to… flights of fantasy.

When the scene switches shots, the box of tissue papers is nowhere to be shown. | Reuse of Stock Character Models.

After this hallucination, blood appears to come out from the ventilation shafts and walls. This scene is very similar to the one shown in the movie (and Novel) The Shining.

The attire worn by most, if not all the characters that where trapped and lived under the Venture Compound are past upon attire worn on the music videos of the late 70's and 80's till the mid 90's. The Most noticeable of the spoofs and imitations are list bellow:
- The first notable charterer spoof was that of Keith Flint of Prodigy in the music video "Firestarter". Interesting to note that the music video also takes place in a subterranean place. The Keith Flint impersonator also has green hair and a tongue piercing. Also wears the same American flag (Capetian America) shirt.
- The second notable charterer spoof was that of the three members of the group "Art Of Noise" with a young girl dressed "Punk Rock-ish". This referencing the first music video of Close (to the Edit). The three lead group members in that music video and on the episode all have the same different tools as there counterparts. A saw, a tube and built cutters.
- A person dressed like David Bowie dressed as the Pierrot in the music video "Ashes to Ashes".
- A person dressed like Trevor Horn of the "The Buggles" from the music video "Video Killed the Radio Star". Also note that Dr. Venture had noticed this resemblance stating "Is that the guy from the Bugles?"
